Well, the diet and losing weight is just not happening right now :(
Since I decided to lose weight - I just keep treating myself with food and non healthy food at that - I think I did better when I was not trying. I suspect that my life is not busy enough right now.
  • Hi all, this is Lethe--decided I really didn't like the name so reregistered before I built up too many posts--sorry for any confusion:o Yer can all call me leyla now:o

jollyme I know what you mean, it's so hard isn't it, I have a thing for kettle chips (700 cals a large-ahem-bag:o ), and of course a beer or two to wash em down with:rolleyes:

I was down the port again this morning. My sponge went down a treat! They all loved it. One man giving me 9 3/4 out of 10 and then when i asked him what i lose 1/4 of a point for, he promoted me to a 10! (that always works!)

The ship was massive today, i think ive fulfilled pirate day.

OHHH, went to dunhelms and picked up some pots and pans as well as a bright pink duster with a white and black poker dot handle!! so amazing, matts gunna hate it!

Was it fitorbust whos friend wee'd and everyone could see? That is soooo classic. I probably wouldnt go that far!! The window cleaners often catch me naked though.. hate em!
  • Hi Guys,

Sorry I haven't been about much. Trying to sort lots of stuff out and it's hard going. DS had to access visits with the FFA this week and I'm still trying to get housing and other stuff sorted. Not good. Had a meeting with him this afternoon and agreed what access he'll have to ds and how much he's paying into the joint account. Totally not enough but it'll do for now.

Diet wise is completely out the window although I'm probably eating better than I give myself credit for as I'm not snacking half as much as I used to. Spending a lot of time over on the other thread with Gert and Kizzy, it is helping that other people are going through the same things as me but at different stages.

I have to admit, the urge to comfort eat has been massive over the past few days and it's taken tremendous will power and the desire to be totally skinny and fit have won out more often than not.

Also news on other fronts - my friend is going to look after my fluffy ginger pigdog for a while as I feel whilst she's been fed etc. she really needs exercised and more time spent caring for her and I just don't have the time to do that. It's a temporary arrangement for now until I decide whether I can commit to her in the future or if I should rehome her permanently.... another heartbreaking decision having to be made because of the FFA.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

Just got back from a meal out with the whole family and our table was next to Peter Crouch's! My lads were awe struck and at the end of the meal one of them asked for his autograph. He was really lovely to my DS!
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

Thanks for the pirate jokes - it's given me a giggle at the end of a long day.
