Hi all, joined C again for football training tonight, think I'm going to go each week I can. If I'm still enjoying it by xmas C is going to buy me my own boots (borrowing hers at the mo).
My ball skills were slightly better than last week, but I'm still pants. The coach asked me if I was going to sign up. I laughed and said not yet, I'm not that good!Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Morning all
Door shut here too, unless there's something on telly I don't want to miss!
Welcome Lethe - with a wicked sense of humour you should fit right in with this mad lot.
Welcome back Lainie, and congratulations, 2 stone since June is excellent :T
KPC - did you start off thinking you'd never be able to write 10,000 words but then find you had to edit because you had too many? I did!
Vix - it is hard to get started, but once you've got a plan and know where you're going you'll be more motivated.
Raph - I presume C has a spare pair of boots? Just had a mental image of you taking it in turns. :rotfl:
Lesley - have a good time in Crete, and I'll be very impressed if you do stay the same!
Right, better do some work - have a good day everyone.
Any exciting plans for the weekend? (Apart from flying off to Crete!)

:hello: Morning everyone
I hope you're all well today,
Laine, 2 stone is amazing! Well done you!
KPC I loved doing my diss too, once I got into it, and do revisit it from time to time, mine was primary research (with real peeps), and part of a group project, so a great learning experience too. I'm planning to write a summary of it to put in my professional portfolio, so have to revisit it, lol.
Well, I'm still feeling rough with this kidney thing--seem to be getting better but no exercise, have joined food focus and made a dr's appt next week to discuss my weight (hopefully feeling better by then!). Decided to aim for 1lb /week as I think aiming too high has been part of the reason I've failed previously--I do love my food

Morning All
I guess even after all the biscuits and coffee on that course last week and playing rugby and going to the gym, it would have been too much to ask to break even, so its a gain of 1.4lb again. I will turn this round. I will sort it out.

Avast there me hearties (it's international talk like a pirate day:D )
Good to have you back Laine and well done - 2st in 3 months is fantastic:T .
No definite weekend plans - sigh, into my last 4 days of leave now. But the sun is shining and I expect we'll get out and about eventually. Bit of a bleugh start to the day so it'll day a while to crank myself up to speed. Need to plan evening meals to the end of the month so I ensure we come in with grocery challenge budget and stay within SW eating plan. Couldn't sleep last night and ached like billy-oh so compensated of course by eating a horse from the fridge at about 2 a.m. ON the plus side, sat up reading house mates magazine and spotted some good money saving toips which I now need to take action on. Have a good day all.
Edit: can't remember if I thanked you for the chart LL, but thank you for the chartI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
