Well done on your challenge - Efrieze. I admire the amazing effort and determination you've had. Maybe this time next year I'll be a runner too and I don't mean running around with men or out to clubs when the ex has access.
lois thanks for that, Im sure he might, but then again he might take the credit for it too, so right now, I don't care what his regrets are.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
Hey everyone.
Im on the comp trying to do this dissertation. I need to pay £296 or so just to hand it in! If i dont give money by october im out (there is a major part of me that doesnt want to do it just to get out of doing this thing!) I really am crap at self motivation and i think half of the problem is that i have no clue what im doing... i picked a subject at random and im not sure what direction im meant to go in, and im half embarassed to tell my lecturer this because ive done jack all for a loong time.
Anyway, on a brighter note matt is off tonight so im cooking a nice meal and were having a night in with a bottle of wine. (i dont think we have ever been able to do this at home) Always been someone in.
have a good day folks!0 -

Big Well Done Efrieze, excellent times and your rightly proud of yourself and your achievements!! I trust the OH offered his services to massage your weary limbs??
Not much to report from me, rugby wise I played two positions on Saturday 10mins on the wing covering for a blood injury and then 30mins at second row to finish the game. Things went downhill for me after that, but Day one has started and I will sort myself out!
Well done missy on your loss

hi lici, talk to missy, she's probably the best person to give you advice.
well done efrieze, thats an amazing achievement. hope your friend is as proud of you as we are!
Our receptionist is off work this work. Guess who gets to answer all the phones and do all the rest of it, as well as her own job. yep. not a happy bunny.
Just ordered my outfit for saturday. the party theme is angels and demons, and i've ended up going as a red haired nun as part of the sisterhood of the wimple. very confusing and complicated. Feeling very odd today as I experimented with a wash in/wash out dye over the weekend and am still faintly gingery. Don't feel like me at all.
ALton Towers was blimmin ace, had a lovely lovely time. I was almost sick the first time i went on rita (oo-er) but it stop me going on twice more. I liked the flying one too, air. Me and oh havent spent that much time together in ages. He surprised me when we were having a talk by remembering the exact date we got together, and exactly what i was wearing on that date and also the first time we met. I didn't remember the date at all and got a reproachful look. We've always joked that there isn't a great deal of romance in our relationship, but clearly it is.
I'll try to send some pms tonight for the swap. sorry it's taking so long.0 -
Hey Lici! You don't need to go to the gym to get toned, but if you want great results you'll need to put together some sort of exercise programme for yourself and really stick to it.
If you work out your goals first and be as detailed as possible (which parts of the body need toning and how much, etc), then you can look up what you could do to target those areas, and hopefully you'll find some exercises and activities you'll enjoy that will fit into your schedule. You mentioned you want to get your size 8 & flat stomach back - is there something you were doing before that you've stopped doing?
There is an MSE Exercise and Fitness thread in 'The MSE Arms' section which may interest you. Lots of very keen exercisers there who can probably give you some specific ideas once they know what you're hoping to achieve, as well as helping to keep motivated!0 -

Missy - I just don't know where you find such self dicipline sometimes! I'm glad you got results for your efforts. (don't you just miss the smilies peeps for that extra bit of expression!)
Delly - I'm glad to read he has appreciated your need for a few days of space/not to see him and has been able to agree to what you have asked. As for the weight loss - at least it has gone this way and not the other, and I know you are aware of the need to eat as well as you can. Not suprised you had a trough in with the crisps last night and admire you for wanting to keep that under control in the current circs. (I'm trying to work out FFA: think i have two of the words but not one of the F's:))
Efrieze - fantastic achievement - bet a year ago you wouldn't have believd you were capable of this. I know nothing about timeings but they sound very good to me, and even more so your ability to pace yourself.
kpc, aka oh ginger one, sounds like a fun weekend and that things are good with your OH after earlier wobble.
Vix - you just can't really can't giv up now although i appreciate only too well, believe me, how much you don't want to do this diss. You would be chucking away the last 3 years of work. My best advice would be to go and see your tutors. I understand you feel bad about that coz you've done nowt, but, you've hit the nail on the head re lack of direction: that is what is stopping you now i think, having no interest in what you need to do or framework of what you are trying to achieve. They may help you do this. You've nothing to loose by being honest with them have you. And remember, they've seen it all before.
I had a good day yesterday not eating cake I was selling, but we had fish chips on the way home. But then I am on holiday...
PLans to day to take photos for ebay stuff, but don't hold your breath...I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
