Just to explain, he only came off the moped a few hours ago, We went to pick him up and currently they are still at A&E. He is fine save been banged up a little and having cuts to his hands and knees, but what do you expect when you go out without your bike gloves on. Considering he only started his job last week hardly to best thing to do.

victory: You share a birthday with matt! He is 22 on wednesday.

Went with my parents to the local hall where we played bat and trap. Dunno if any of you are familiar with the game, cos its local to this corner of kent. The end result is that i am rubbish! We had good weather though, and i took some nice pics of the 5 of us.

I am sooo hoping the spot on my chin dissapears before matts birthday. Ew to the mingtastic photos.

  • Missyg, good luck for tomorrow, hope all goes well. I'll be thinking of you. Let us know how you got on as soon as you can.

Don't forget no weight lifting for at least 5 minutes - you've got to give it a chance.

    Best wishes, FFM :)

  • so tell us what bat and trap is then vix!

OH already has 14 events booked in for next year so he is doing a lot more. This one was important for loads of reasons - the old business partner for one, the fact the railway manager said it wouldn;t work, and the fact that we said we'd give it 5 years and turned it around in 4. IT means that for the first time he's made money on every event that he's done this year - not necessarily a lot, but some. So we're one step closer to him going full time, which takes me one step closer to going part time. v proud of him!

Thanks everyone I appreciate it :D

I'm not officially recording my weigh in today, but it's roughly a 5lb gain  Ouch. I ate more than usual yesterday and also several hours later than usual, because I'm not allowed to eat today until after the op (and I doubt I'll want much then). Had a couple of days last week where I wasn't as good as I should have been too :o

Anyway hope everyone else has much much more joy with their weigh in this week! Thanks again for the good wishes.
  • Hello everyone - another flying visit from me as have to take OH to London for hospital appointment prior to eye surgery Thursday. Have to be there at 0730:eek:

  • Hi all, I'm a newbie here, and would like to join in this board please! I am planning on a stone weight loss by nov 1st, and today is september 1st, so I think that is maybe a little too optimistic! But I'm going to give it a go. There are far too many pages to sit and read through (well I am over my dinner break now anyway!) ooops! But I did take a look at the before and after pics, Efrieze, suggs and starlight, well what can I say appart from WOW! You are all amazing at what you have acheived, and great role models for people like me! I need something like that to give me the motivation to keep going! So thanks!

Look forward to getting to know you all
