Raph - I hope this isn't a shot gun wedding and one of you has been a little careless:rotfl: . Great to see you so happy - enjoy yourself (like you need telling) and congratsconfetti2.gif

Ha ha, it's a little difficult to have an 'accident' when it's two women. If I do find I'm pregnant I've done something terribly wrong!!:rotfl:
We are planning the wedding for Jan 2010, as I'd like a winter wedding, but this Jan is a little too soon.
I spotted the perfect ring today :D £140. The one C wants is £89 so I might get her a necklace or something too, to even out the cost :)

Delly I am thinking of you.
    Happy Birthday Beanie
    Congrats Raph and C

I have lost 1lb again this week.

I have hardly been at home recently, DS1 is going back to uni so we are trying to find him somewhere to live, planning for DDs wedding too is hotting up a little. Its not till next year, I think I mentioned before and we are trying to do an MSE wedding. I am not sure how successsful we will be but giving it a try.

I think I forgot to weigh in last week, I've been depressed again which is why I am trying to do lots of different things this week and not do any thinking!

I wondered if any others with chronic illnesses/conditions have been feeling the same, I think the weather is making things worse and I broke my SAD lamp, the button has disappeared inside. I don't use it in the summer but got it out to give it a try and can't get it to work.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Ditto! Even at my own sister's wedding! She chose a distant cousin of her husband and my three boys were page boys (along with another three from his side). She was the chief bridsemaid at mine! Was I miffed or what! Is this working Raph?
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!
  • I've been a bridesmaid 5 times since I was 18!!! So I think I have the experience to do the job well here:rotfl: . Worn some pretty hideous pink outfits too:eek: . Was even made to have ballroom dancing lessons for one of them , so I could dance with the bestman after the bride and groom had done their stuff:eek:  (no, no payoff;bestman was 30 yrs older than me and (thankfully) already taken).
I went to 2 girlfriends wedding last Oct and it was really really moving - one of the nicest weddings I have been to. I just felt how could anyone have any problem with two people, of whatever gender, expressing love for each other. Seemed the most natural and right thing in the world.Knowing what these 2 had been through to get there made it very special.
Poohbear - sorry to hear you've not felt so good. Well done on trying to keep busy and not thinking to much. I find the 'not thinking' can be very helpful to get through bad times. I don't think the weather helps - there is nothing like warmth and sunshine to make life a little easier when going through a bad spell.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

anyone ever seen the monkeydust sketch about the bridesmaids? won=man goes to biridal shop and talks to assistant . .

BRIDE - I know it's only 3 weeks to go, but I'mm worried about hte bridesmaid's dresses. I was thinking of something a bit more, well sort of . . .

    ASSISTANT - Frumpy?

And it degenerates from there with the bridesmaids ending up in clogs. v funny.

Happy Brithday Beanie, I hope you're having a lovely day xx

Wow Raph, congratulations! You're alright, I have no desire to be a bridesmaid (not being one at my brother's wedding in October either) but I wouldn't mind being a bride :o

Oh yes indeedy Poohbear, been really struggling the last 6-8 weeks  I never used to think the weather affected me, as I was happy to do my outdoors stuff whatever the weather but just recently I can't help thinking a blue sky wouldn't half make my day! Hope you feel better soon x

Yae, Pet!!!! :jWoo hoo, really lovely to see you! The summer has been pants but it's officially winter already so you can come out to play again ;) xx

Raph - ive only been bridemaid once, i looked minging. That was at one of my heaviest weights. I'll let granny be matron of honour and me and tagz can be the other two. Three more hotties wont hurt.

Plus, i bet granny and tagz would be wild on your hen night!! Suggs and ajax can be the strippers!
