You poor tired thing Shaun, how is that baby?

Popeye's not missing a chocolate party -well he may be, but he's consoling himself with a beer and a restaurant meal - I'm about to ruin it by Skyping him :rotfl: :rotfl:

Shaun, I hope all the family had a good nights sleep? :D (My first didn't sleep through the night until she was 10 months old :D )

I spent an hour trying to Skype Popeye, and couldn't  It kept saying "internal error" What's internal about phone calls over the internet? Today he hasn't sent me an e-mail which he usually does before he heads out to work; perhaps he's hungover???? I *think* next week he's back in the city and online each evening. I just have to hold on until Sunday. :o patience not being something that has ever introduced itself to me. :o

Went to bed grumpy, woke up lethargic.
Off to aged P's tomorrow, back Sunday. So another exciting fun-packed weekend ahead. :o

Hi Olive - ah yes, aged P's.... I hope yours are okay, and I'm sorry you can't get in touch with Popeye, that never feels good. But he's still reading your diary, isn't he, if he knows about the list! Thats so sweet. And yes, be patient! (sorry :) )

This is a second marriage for both of us, we had ground rules. :D

And as I am partially deaf, and have a foreign parent I've learnt to be fairly blunt. :o No subtle diplomacy from me. I've told him that he'd hate to find out later that I'd needed/wanted something and he hadn't "read the signals" so the signals is writ large :D . He just says "yes dear" and does what he wants.

(and he usually wants to please me ;) )

    you're not wrong there!

I think you're in Ireland? But not Irish? How strange is it living in a foreign country?
I'm always impressed by immigrants (my mum came over with NO English in the 1950's, and now beats us all at crosswords, even with Altzheimers :rotfl: ) I think they make a country so much richer.

I love hearing on here about people plotting to set up in another country, so exciting. I wish I'd been brave enough when I was young :rotfl:

And my aged P's, I love them, but they're not the same people as they used to be. :o And they're so needy too :o Good luck with yours.
  • Hope you have a good visit with aged P's. I am having my gran for tea..she will only stay a bit as she usually likes to have her telly sorted by a certain time and can't handle it otherwise. But at 93 she can sort it out how she likes really. Have a good weekend and hopefully you will have lots of cantact with Popeye as well.
