No they absolutely promise not to contact your workplace.
Not that it would matter here, I run HR & Payroll & answer the phone :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

Day 27
And Popeye is threatening to take a look at my Blogette
I didn't walk, I'm going out to supper with the girls and so no writing is being doneThat's the bad news.
On the other hand I've been neglecting the increasing my income bit of the challenge so:- I've signed up for 3 more mystery shops - making 5 in the next 8 days. When I logged on this morning they must have been uploading the assignments at that moment. It was slow but I persevered.
- Through Quidco, not yet tracked, but I've applied for a Payday loan. £80 should have arrived in my account today, and next month I repay the £100. But hopefully I'll get £60 back for doing that
- Amazon money has arrived, only £11.16 but I'll add it to my signature.
- I've offered the rejected e-bay item to another bidder - he wants more photos so I'll do that before I leave. May get 2/3 of the original sale, but not too bad, better than 0.
And there's a teeny bit due out from Quidco (about £6) but these are all pence in my quest for £1,000 so I must get my bum into gear tomorrow.
Tomorrow I will:- list some stuff on e-bay
- find some more books to list on Amazon (but not Popeye's books and I'm discovering what rubbish books he's acquired over the last few years so it is taking tremendous discipline not to list them - I mean who'd want to keep a book about "Aircraft of the Royal Airforce"?)
- look for more MS's.

Day 28, I suppose I'm really about a third of the way through the 82 day challenge. I ought to change the title of this thread
Certainly I'm going to update my signature. Popeye read this lot last night and e-mailed me with his comments:rotfl: (what's wrong with "Aircraft of the Royal Air Force"? was one of them) and he's impressed at the way the debt has gone down. I only update the total monthly and tonights the night
Other than that I've not been particularly industrious today.:
1) Weight -well I didn't walk to work and I had a Snickers:eek: I'm really hungry at the mo too
2) Listing on e-bay? Well the camera's just charging right now
3) Writing? Does this blog count? :rotfl: :rotfl:
4) Gardening -it's raining.
Thursday I usually do my housework. And I will get down to it not just because DS2 has limited my time on here, but also because of competing in Chore Wars
I'm not going out tonight, though I was invited to a do. It's an hours drive away, it's a school night and I'm taking DS2 & DD to their Dad tomorrow, we have to leave at 5.45 am  But I feel guilty not going0 -
I think I have a copy of "Aircraft of the Royal Air Force" too
:rotfl:
Re payday loans.....they DID ring me at my workplace.....be prepared!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
 That's awful  I was sure it said they wouldn't
(It's not a worry for me, I mostly answer the phones anywaybut I've told someone they wouldn't)

Day 30. I didn't even post here yesterday  I must have been having so much fun
So a bit to catch up on.
Delivered DD & DS2 to their Dad's, not sure when they return, he's written in the diary "1 week" but frankly that just means they'll be gone more than 7 days. :j :j (I love them, but enjoy the peace and sole ownership of the remote control)
I had a couple of mystery shops last night. The first one I got a little lost but was simple to complete. I'd submitted my report before I went to the pub (another MS) I arranged to meet an old friend that I hadn't seen to chat to for yonks. She's quite interested in this debt-busting lark, and seemed impressed that we'd knocked off £18,000 in the last 18 months (so are we
) She has her own DFW ways, I thought she was managing. Some time ago I'd suggested the weekly e-mail, but she confessed she received but never "had time" to read it. So we had a huge discussion about Quidco, clicks, mystery shopping etc and I even said the dreaded "give up smoking" line.
I'm going round there later, and if this post gets blanked out, you'll know I've even shown her my blog (ooh er missus) but she's having her first lesson on Quidco.
Skyped OH for an hour or so. Then tried to complete the pub report. For unknown reasons it just would not accept a particular answer. It kept saying "99% complete" at 1 am I gave up. Got on this morning and re-typed that answer and it was acceptedBut I had a quick perusal of the available assignments and another of the simple ones had been released. So I'm doing that today
Couple of money  's.:- Quidco say they have received £6.75 but their scheduled payment is £3.25
- MS company re-scheduled my £17.75 payment from 31st July to 15th August
It's raining today, so no gardening.
I'm going to attack the sitting room instead

Day 31 a month since Popeye abandoned me  and a Sunday which is often the pits when you're on your own
But my sis has invited me for lunch and I've two mystery shops to do before that, so despite the rain I have things to do today.
Yesterday I did go and see my friend, she's coping brilliantly with a load of debts her OH has left her with. She has an incredibly tight budget for shopping, which she sticks to and that's with a very fussy teen in the house. And she does boot fairs most weekends. But she'd never heard of Quidco.and she's now going to snowball. I think she's happier with a pencil and paper rather than excel but......
As I drove home, I was inspired to take a look at all our debts. We're rather excited that we are about to pay off a 0% deal in time this month without having to scrabble around to look for another deal to roll it over.
On our spreadsheet we had 4 cc's on low-ish LOB rates. But still 6.9%, 4.9% and 3.9% (why always point-nine?).
In my post I had received a 0% offer, but had binned the letter. But I phoned them, at first they said they could only do it for 3 months, so I said forget it, then they said to get the 12 months I needed the code on the letter, so I said sorry, and then he went away for a very long time. But came back with the offer of 12 months 0% (3% transfer fee) starting when I transferred. :j :j :j   So ALL our debt, apart from the consolidation loans (3) is at 0% and will be gone next year
It made my day.
But I didn't get very far with the sitting room.0
