I know what you mean about the house tidy. *sigh*
And I did my bedroom on Sunday, and climbed into clean sheets, plumped up pillows and a good book it was lovely :D

But sorting out the loft, banging my head, cobwebs and woman-handling huge heavy boxes is a def. downside.
  • I know love to be first in a clean bed..i hate it when he gets in chucks the pillows around and makes it look untidy...

i don't mind about the loft as is nearly empty now.

    Morning Olive!

Hope you made the right decision whether to walk to work or not? Its a lovely day so a walk would have been nice but can understand what you mean about driving in - its so much easier isn't it

Another day nearer to seeing OH for you :j

    Well I drove :o:o

But: as I was in earlier and less tired I signed up for 3 more mystery shops, making it 5 over the next week :D
I've been letting the moneymaking slip a bit. Then I saw Hypno and Karmacats totals for mystery shopping and thought I have no excuse. Suddenly there were a few I could do. But I'm now committed to going to the pub twice on my own :o I think I'll be able to manage it - I could when I was younger and it isn't so freaky to sit in and eat a meal as a lone woman nowadays is it?????

I've also signed up through Quidco for a Payday loan  it will cost me £20 but earn £60. Apparently it tracks swiftly too. Thanks for the hint Hypno!

    Hiya

I don't know how I have missed this - just read it in one sitting (with bits of work in between shush)

It is hard for you without Popeye but you do manage to have loads of contact.

Keep going and let us know when you meet Jonathan Ross so we can be screaming fans eager for your autograph!
  • That is a good thing on the payday loans..i haven't done them myself..may sign Mr.B up for one...
I haven't managed a mystery shop yet..keep getting beaten to them..too many DFW after them all!

Peb, I'm going to turn down an invitation to be a guest on Jonathon Ross as the BBC rejected my latest work :rotfl: :rotfl:
Perhaps I'll go on Richard & Judy......maybe turn my play into a novel and get on their "list"?
Now what shall I wear? :rotfl:

And Bob, I've been missing MS assignments, I think their whole site slows when they load them up and I usually go away at that point. When I return many of the assignments have gone.

Hi Olive! Payday is still there? I think I'm going to give in and do it too... I will if you will, gowon, gowon!

On the mystery shopping - like I said, I take it when its there, and if their site is down, I know they're uploading jobs, so I check back more frequently. But since just before I got that humongous payment, there hasn't been *anything* - I'm booked to do a phone call next Monday, and another phone call the first day in September, and then nothing. Very odd, very up and down.

Hey - the really important bit, I missed the conversation about House. I love House! Richard Dean Anderson thinks he's funny and grumpy in Stargate - he's nothing, nothing at all, compared to Hugh Laurie's genius in House. Wonderful stuff.

    Payday is still there £60
Take out an £80 loan, thirty days later pay back £100  (+1500% apr)
    And you've cleared £40.

And that loan is APALLINGLY easy to obtain!!!!

DD was shocked, she intercepted the phone call giving me my 4-digit code and demanded that I explain myself :p (I should explain she's 21 1/2 and we discuss the debt I'm repaying) She was however impressed that I have earned over £700 through Quidco in the last 15 months :D
  • Wow that is an impressive total from Quidco , i am upto £300...i may give it a go myself..was very wary though of giving employers details and them ringing me at work...
I had some nasty business when we were applying for a new mortgage, we weren't refused, but the company kept ringing up work and demanding to speak to me when i was in the classroom..i was so appalled that i told them to stick it where the sun doesnt shine and kept with the NR, who at the time offerred us a really good rate..cheaper and less hassle..all thanks to a bloomin mortgage broker..grrr
