Hi Olive, sorry to hear about the blues and the difficult parents. That sounds tiring and demoralising. For something to look forward to - can you book a cheap weekend treat for the 'halfway' weekend - go and stay with a friend you don't often see? I'm like you, I always need something to look forward to that's not too far in the future.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

That's a good suggestion Seaxwyn.
I also thought of the Leeds meet in Septemberbut that is more than 4 weeks away.
Off to work now (and I've reduced my weight loss on my sig.)

I was wondering whether you both could get webcams? It would help keep up the face to face feeling, and perhaps lessen it a little for you.:o
My weight also yo yo's i reckon that is why God invented elastic waist bands..brilliant they are:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I was looking for this on page 4 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Oh boy do we have web cams! Couldn't manage without.I even have a table top microphone so I can fix myself a drink while we chat.
Even bought his parents one for Christmas. (helped them to forgive his going)
I'm feeling a lot chipper this evening, have no idea why I'm having these mood swings. I must be catching hormones from all these expectant mothers on DFW
I always like lists so:
Reasons to feel down:- FK turned up in a foul mood this morning and proceeded to make the office bluddy uncomfortable. She may have been justified in her complaints, but frankly we could do without the childish tantrum she's been throwing
- 57 days until I fly away
- nothing sold on Amazon
- weight gone up by 2lbs
- walked to work
- Skyped OH for 2 hours this evening (with webcam) and it was a pleasure to complain about the heat as he is cold and damp
- I'm SO looking forward to up-dating my spreadsheet on Friday
and taking us below £30K into the 20's:T
- DD made me a low fat supper
(I stirred in cheese
) but I did eat the salad.
- I walked to and from work and am only slightly in pain
- I used my £2 coupon towards House MD Series 3
which I shall enjoy at the weekend.

Hi Olive!
Just read through all of your thread and its made me smile and laugh - I think its a brilliant idea of yours to write a daily journal.
I know you live near me so if ever you fancy a change of scene pm me and pop over for a drink or we could meet for a coffee?
Do you go to a local theatre? Was wondering if you did as you are writing and thought I may actually already know youChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
Following the style of BlueJean:
Bob- I feel much happier at the moment. I'm not sure what brings these blue waves of self pity, I'd prefer a more even keelBut hey ho, and onward.
Karmacat- Yes lots of things to make me feel pleased.I would prefer to have OH around to enjoy them too, but he sent an extra £500 home this month, which would not be possible if he wasn't 6,000 miles away
Beanielou- I've loved this program since episode one, and am happy to watch it again and again. My children mock me for it thoughI think it is beautifuly written, with complex stories and characters, and I'm almost in love with Hugh Laurie as House :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
MOT- I think the phrase in the small ads is WLTM youAnd I love going to the theatre. However in recent months I've become a little reclusive and not gone out much - mostly laziness I'm afraid
Well Day 26 is over.
All the office have been out for a meal. It was great. FK relaxed and we had a good timeI haven't had an Indian (in England that is) for about 6 months, I hadn't remembered how much I love them. Ate tonnes. Good thing weigh in is not for another 6 days.
Very little debt busting done, apart from spending nothing. And although I've refunded the unhappy ebay buyer I have offered it to another bidder. Pity it was damaged in the post, I'll have to discount it.
I must list some more things on e-bay. The trouble is I like to clear it one batch at a time. I get like Pooh bear when it comes to dispatching and am easily confused.
Umming and ahhing about whether to walk or not tomorrow. Someone will need to do the banking at work, and it should be me. And I'm out again in the evening....shall I? shan't I?
I'm behaving at work and am only lurking on here, not posting. But a good time is before 9am at work....another reason to drive?0 -
Well any time on MSE..is always good eh?..
I love House as well..i even download it on the net if i have missed an episode..Hallmark were running it ahead of 5 last year, but haven't done so this year..booo
I get waves of feeling down and he is here..i used to quite like it when he was away, as the heart definately is fonder...i had the house organised tea, sorted and everything done and dusted early doors..and i could read in bed till the early hours of the morning..until i found here!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
