just got mine from $39 specs and I'm really pleased, two pairs cost £45 including postage.

Finding it hard to choose where to buy glasses from quite a few internet sites selling prescription glasses

short listed down to 3

spex4less have the largest range but the prices of ispectacle.com are impreessive
any advice?

Ive spent a lot of time looking into specs on-line,( ive just ordered a pair from goggles4u and will update when they get here), but to make your choice even harder (oopss) have you looked at

If it wasnt for the fact i was after rimless i would have ordered from them due to the free (truly) thinner lenses which normally cost around £110 on their own ! (not like some sites advertise where the lenses are actually standard thickness lenses)

Quite a few of the previously mentioned sites don't do Varifocals but if you need them I can highly recommend:

Many thanks for your comments and advice, after browsing for hours went for
designer glasses at https://www.ispectacle.com . Seemed to be the lowest priced for the pair i wanted.
Promised delivery by Friday. Will let you know once i've recieved the glasses

Not sure if you live near one, but Optika near me do a £10 eye test. And if you take your prescription to specsavers round the corner they give you £10 off specs just for using another optician's test. Sneaky!
