You advised that having alerted the bidder to the fact that they were being "ripped off", they then withdrew their bid.
All I am asking is, if the bidder did in fact withdraw their bid, why is this retraction not recorded in the bid history?
Perhaps I am misreading the bid history, but the only bid ever placed on the item was placed two days ago, and has not been retracted?

NO, i dont think you should have. Maybe the buyer bought it for £13 & is trying to make a small profit & its not his fault sainsburys have now got it cheaper.your heart was in the right place though but i dont think you should have done it.alyssa_mae wrote:Today I spotted a dora the explorer scrabble game is Sainsburys for £13 odd.
so I thought I'd look on ebay. There was one priced £19.99 plus £4.50 postage and packaging with one bidder. In my anoyance that the seller was trying to rip someone off. I've emailed the bidder and told her where it's cheaper.( I hid my email address). Do u think I was wrong?0 -
Who gives a rat's !!!!!! what you lot think. I can't even believe Alyssa had the naivety to question her intentions or integrity with money savers in cyberspace. Why should she care what any of you thought???
All points/views/arguments are valid but PLEASE...people, get a life, switch off your pc and go do something less boring instead!0 -

I care as bid retractions, (or not), tell their own tale.

I'm locking this thread now as the argument is becoming pointless. Lets get back to some real issues with ebay.
