    weezl would you do costings ie your bean recipe x 4 plus a pound for sausages and 80p for eggs................mmm teaspoon paprika too(6 portions all in)

    probably out of your budget but not bad in the grand scheme of things

    I make it 51p per portion :T:T:T and if we could find a better price for haricots than nearly a quid for 500g, it'd be even better!:D

    Thanks weezl ........................funny haricots cost so much compared to other beans off to asian shop at weekend hoping they have some

    Forgot to say i cooked mine in pressure cooker so no soaking required and cooked in half an hour ................i prefer pressure to slow cooker although i am a recent convert ...................................

    Hi Weezle, just wondering if you could post that link for the book download you spoke of earlier. I have searched here and cant find it and am sure it is down to my bad searching skills today. I knew I should have downloaded it when I saw the original thread yesterday!! Go figure eh?

    I keep opening the fridge and the newly pipped cherries are still staring at me waiting for me to do something ANYTHING with them!!

    At least tea is smelling lovely.....cheap pork steaks that I had in the freezer for ages smothered with mushrooms and onions going to have with mash and I think some sort of veg. Just realized I am out of corn flour to make the gravy guess will have to use flour which in my case means lumps!! LOL
