OMG! You now have me calculating costs on what I make!
    Cheap pudding.

    Mr T's Orange jelly 8p
Value tin of sliced peaches 29p Drain and chop them up a little smaller
Makes 6 ramekins of jelly with fruit
    served with
    Instant custard 8p
makes it 7.5p per serving and takes no time to make

As I used peaches in juice I was wondering if there are any suggestions on what to do with the reserved juice?

    Germ

Good luck in your challenge weezl. I followed your last one with great interest and will do the same with this one. You put me to shame! I have a budget of over 80 a week - but we do have growing 3 children!

Does the pot au chocolat freeze ok?

    Germ

Next time I'd use it as part of the liquid to make up the jelly (you don't have to heat it. If you add boiling water less the amount of juice, then add the juice it'll be fine and might even set quicker!), but otherwise drink it, add it to a smoothie, pour over sponge cake as part of a trifle type pudding, use with chopped fruit to make a fruit salad, use instead of milk if making a cake...

:T:T:Thmkn, great ideas! And also Germ, if your kids like squash, you could reduce it in a pan on the hob by about half (with a bit of sugar if unsweetened) then they can add water and have it as high-juice peach squash?

Wow I am really impressed with this thread and am going to keep an eye on how you are all doing-near where I live we are lucky to have loads of brambles and wild rasberries which I always gather in the summer and use-they taste so much better than shop bought ones too. Plus we are growing our spinach, courgettes, salad, tomatoes and strawberries.

Anybody have any idea how I can use lemon balm:j in cooking as I have got loads
:o 2008 will be the year I finally get organised!:o
