Forgive me, Nyk, but I never knew what HS stood for...

....but am I correct in understanding that your frugal heart is now beating wildly in a cosy twosome?

Gongrats NYK!!! :T I am so so happy for you.

I can't make my big catch up post as I have been enjoying a little bit too much some rather nice fortified wine. Have been feeling ill and very tired last couple of weeks so trying to comatise myself to have a dreamless night.

Today two very handsome young men moved to stay with me for few days but unfortunately I can't keep them as they belong to Bails. I :smileyhea guinea pigs.

Mumzy, I am sorry you felt c**p today. I know the feeling. It is difficult to get the rest and solitude one sometimes needs with little ones needing the attention (I had that yesterday).

Time for bed for some catch up sleep. Night night everybody.

    Good Morning all,

Well im feeling in a better mood today..I have tided the house and i am just awaiting my tesco delivery shop..spent £73 but that was with a £9 off £60 spend. But i got loads of BOGOF's which need to come off the £73. Its arriving today between 9am-11am..but im not paying for it :D as its what my mum pays for, for staying at my house for a week :D

My mum is coming tomorrow but not untill 11pm at night so tomorrow will be a long day. I am going to stay at my sisters on the 31st in Blackpool to babysit her cat for her so i will be there for 10days. On the 2nd of august i need to head back to where i live to go on a residential with my youngmums group..canoeing anyone?? :rotfl:

Today i have to pay my rent  :D so need to pop into the bank in town and do that.. DS at nursery today also at 1pm. Market day today but not going to spend anything i have to many DD's coming out this week and next. But hopefully my special "money" will head into my bank tomorrow.. Depending on wether or not he had decided to pay me! Proberly not knowing men!

I have a bit of "i dont feel right" today my tummy is turning at food i see on tv and making me a little but sick.. Hope i havent got the bug again...that would be twice now in 2 weeks!

NYK - Charlie is doing great thankyou. Think the novelty of it has worn off my DS untill i get him out of the cage

    Have a good day everyone

We've been away from the 4th to the 7th July so kind of didn't budget :o just spent :D.
Had a great time though and we really needed the break with all the personal problems I've got at the moment.
Anyway, I shall start afresh this week and try to be good though I do have a few birthdays this week.

Wow, DG. Don't think we've ever had such a highly decorated post!

Nyk - tell all......what happened? Was it your papier mache, or the frugarty that finally seduced HS?

My friend had some good news - she won at the employment tribunal. She was chasing unpaid wages on behalf of her hubby, who died earlier in the year.

    My own..

Good: surveyor chappie finally managed to get here today to assess our house for a grant for insulation. Had been delayed for ages due to delay in tax credits.
Better: He will refer us to another agency to have our boiler looked at and front door draughtproofed (sp?)
Best: Free loft and cavity wall insulation will be done by the time winter draws in. They have emphasised how much warmer we'll be so I am really, really excited. Should cut out heating bills down a lot, they say.

    :rotfl:

yes yes did your frugal ways play an active role in seducing HS? did you fruduce (frugally seduce) him?

    :kisses3:

ooooooooooh nyk and HS, sitting in a tree!
