This looks very similar to the 'easiyo' mumzy. You don't need to use the sachets at all - you can use the method I have described to make non flavoured 'natural' yogurt. Or you can use the sachets, but you'd need to check how easy it would be to buy them - where would you get them and how much do they cost? If you have to order them every time, that's just another job to get done, and of course they are pricy + postage.
As for flavouring your own yog's - you could put in your own fruit. As a treat I sometimes add low sugar butterscotch angel delight to nat yog rather than milk and it is so creamy and delicious. You could use your nat yog to make HM fruit smoothies.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Would i just chop fruit up really small and add it to the yogurt?

Hello all, I'm back :) Hope everyone's ok (I've just quickly skimmed the last few pages sorry, brain a bit mushy still, and I just want to get this written before I fall asleep again!!)

Four long days and nights of partying, no running water, a leaky tent, constant junkfood... It has all taken its toll! I'm a shadow of my former self, a wreck, an empty husk of a man.

I wouldn't change it for the world! :D

Fantastic festival, good company, very little in the way of sleep (go to bed between 3am and 6am, get up between 7am and 9am ) and more booze than I ever thought possible :o

Didn't spend a huge amount either - £81.96. It's not pocket change, granted, but considering I had four 'nights out', takeaway food and a trip to the local swimming pool each day I'm happy with what I spent :)

Only downer is that one of the lads had some stuff stolen from his tent on the first night. Not a lot you can do really, there'll always be one or two idiots about to ruin it for the rest of us, but my mate didnt let it drag him down and decided to make the most of the festival regardless. Since his wallet was stolen I subbed him £20, as did the other lads, and we just carried on partying

I'm pretty sure I won't have any more big spends this month, not least because all my friends are skint now and we've had enough hangovers in a short space of time to last us a fair old while :rotfl:

Welcome back MrDT, glad you enjoyed yourself despite the unfortunate incident with your mate's wallet getting pinched. Like you say, there's always some iriot around to throw a spanner in the works. Hope you aren't too hung over and hope the homebrew went down well :)

It's turned out a beautiful, sunny and warm night here. I just hope it means good weather for the rest of the week, as I have so much gardening to do plus there's a frugal double celebratory day trip and picnic later this week - HS is soon to be known as OH and we are now househunting together for the longterm :D :j (sorry Mumzy's neighbour :rotfl: ).

Off to watch the Real Monarch of the Glen now :)

Forgive me, Nyk, but I never knew what HS stood for...

....but am I correct in understanding that your frugal heart is now beating wildly in a cosy twosome?
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

:D Ooh intrigue and romance afoot on the thread:rolleyes:
Hmmm was a bit suspicious about your house share a while back when you said he was beginning to get frugal and may possibbly become future OH material;) ;) , but then you never mentioned it again, leading us all into a false sense of security before springing it on us:p :p .

Hope you will both be very happy together Nyk:T
