I have been feeling like a teenager myself. After agonising this morning if I managed to leave that messge properly I did it again and I think that the first attempt didn't get sent but I feel like a real idiot if it did. Now I am sitting waiting for an email like some love struck teenager. And if it never comes then I will be absolutely gutted and spend ages wondering why. This is far too stressful.

Ok Nyk - spill the beans about the house. We are all agonising here to find out.

I haven't checked if my make do fridge (piggies out door hutch) has kept my food from going off. It it hasn't then it is just potatoes and cheese for me tonight. But on the other hand I really don't feel hungry at all. I guess it is all that reconciling I have been doing all day. I have still the three most difficult accounts to do but I think I will have to leave them for tomorrow.

I did one unfrugal decision today. Instead of just cutting my fringe myself I booked an appointment with a hairdresser. If I was still paying London prices I would have just cut it myself but here I consider it as affordable luxury.

Failed to get my Monday weight check done so did it today. One more kilo off which brings me to the total of 4kg loss in 3 weeks. I am well ahead of schedule. I can't wait to go to MnS to spend all those lovely vouchers that Curly sent me and get size 12 clothes. :T

The situation in the piggy land has settled down and I might be able to keep the boys together. My little poorly boy has been very perky today and been eating a lot so it seems that the antibiotics have worked. I still have to occasionally tell that Big Bully Bum Piggy off for hurting his poorly flatmate. He has to go in the box to cool off if he won't stop it.

Those were the news from the Kennels (Little Tiger turned into a Dog today).

Wishing you all a relaxing evening.

    Marru

  • Mmm, a little trickier on the justification front if you don't pay for electric. How about taking the 'saving the planet approach - it is good to consume less (bypassing the fact that buying one at all = consumtion of stuff:o )
When I looked at the standard size one I though it seemed rather small, but over on the remoska forum, quite a few peeps seem to be happy with that for 4. (Perhaps us two have big appetites as well as bulk cooking)...others regret not buying the largest possible.
Have just had major shock: OH writing in note book everything he has spent today, down to last penny. My good habits caught from here must be catching:j

Marru I am sending it to you as well as you do MS's too.

It's not the end of the world, just trying to do my best and being made to feel a bit rubbish for it :(

Edited to say that BB and Marru have cheered me up and I'm off to watch a bit of telly and have a cuppa. AND I have now promised myself that if I get promoted at the end of the month (fingers crossed) I am giving up working for this particular MS company.

    Hi fru-guys and gals! :)

Househunting is quite fun, although we were really disappointed about not getting the farmhouse. Today's viewing was a soggy sort of an event, as it lashed with rain all the time we were there. 'Fixy-up', sounds like something needing a rewire and some decoration, however, this needs a bit more that that. OK, it needs a LOT more than that, it's an uninhabitable bombshell! :rotfl: Trouble is, we both LOVE it! I've already arranged for a second viewing!
I looked briefly at the building - it could be a house one day in the future!
I inspected the "garden" area - I wanted to live in it, even if I'd to stay in a tent!

Please keep all fingers crossed that this one works out for us as I am one of the most difficult people to please when it comes to buying property. 2009 could find me partaking in some rather difficult and unusual challenges, with living on 4k being amonst the easier ones! :rotfl: HS/OH2B is equally excited by the prospect of a longterm project involving such an unusual challenge and I only wish I could tell you more right now but can't; I'm scared I'll jinx any chance we may have of getting this. :o
