Thanks Janey, I think I will give it a break thou as it is sooo bad for ones insecurities. Will just keep half an eye on the "man hunt". Janey - you really do need to decorate your bedroom - GO for it!!!

Good news from here :j as you can see I am ONLINE!!!! And all my email addresses are working :j:j

I am so relieved as I was expecting the worst.

Nyk - I will catch up soon with you at the bingo just need to call this fridge company first and ask what are they going to do with my appliance situation.

Still down with cold but not that horrible achy feeling I had yesterday. Off I go now to try sort out my fridge-freezer and then hopefully to win some money.

    Have a great day all,

    Marru

    Hi everyone,

Janey, you are doing so well, the least you deserve is a bit of bedroom redecoration!

Marru, I felt like I was getting a cold on Tuesday as well. Felt very achey, glands were up, and I was sneezing. However, I had an early night and woke up yesterday just fine... Still sneezing a bit though, wondering if it might be hayfever. Got a wedding to go to next week so I can't be ill!

I got most of my jobs done yesterday, although didn't mop kitchen floor, naughty. Might try to do it tonight, but I'm always so worn out after work I just flop.

The good news is I have already sold an ebay item! Put it on b-i-n as I just wanted rid, but got nearly £15 for it! I did worry I put it on too cheap as it sold so quickly, but hey, it's better to have the money in my paypal account and forget about it. Except musn't forget to post it!

Have a good day everyone. I'm going to have to get some lunch today as nothing to bring with me - wish me luck going to the shopping centre and not falling for any amazing 'deals' at the supermarket!

    xx

Things have been fairly quiet about here and, with only 20 weeks left to go, I'm hoping that there are still more than just a handful of us left taking part. Could I make this post a list of who is still doing the challenge along with an update of how everyone is doing? :confused:I think that may help us to keep track and give us a little boost by seeing who is and who isn't still attempting this. :) I'll be back to edit in the list with names of those still here :)

Who's who with 20 weeks to go...

Hi Slowly, I'm just wanting to do a list of who is still here and see how everyone else is doing. The holidays are always hard to get through if on a really strict budget but it's also good to do a bit of a recap and consider what progress has been made or if any slight alterations need to be made to make the frugal lifestyle more bearable, especially if it means forfeiting holidays. I do this because I'm saving like mad for a house and won't be able to get a mortgage, so it needs to be cash for a fixy-up. :)

Thanks for sticking with us and I'll get your name added with your results so far. Just let me know if your signature is up to date, as that's where I'm getting the figures. You are UNDER BUDGET! WOW! WELL DONE!

Hi there, let me know when you've updated to today's date and I'll add in your results so far. Well done, so far.

Hey! If YOU can live on that amount alone and WE can show you that it can be done with 2+ in the house then think how well off you'll be if you ever hitch up with a houseshare or partner ;) You'll be LOADED! :j

I'm lurking at the moment as I've got a few money problems to sort out and it doesn't make me feel like posting. I don't think I'll make the 2K and I think I've actually forgot to add some things to my sig, but I WILL start again in the next challenge and do it!
