Will.i.amnt, I'd dump Harris Poll if your on the fence, I gave up with them after a few years as they never paid anything, I only ever got competition surveys.

I am considering dumping the Nectar surveys too as they just seem to accept all my answers then say that I do not qualify 5 or 10 minutes in which is way too far (should be within the first 5 pages max. IMO).

ToLuna went a while back for me because they were just scammers! I so rarely got paid the points promised for the surveys they sent and those I didn't qualify for after spending anything up to 30 minutes. I'd complain and they'd ask for the link, on the few occasions I knew what they were going on about when they did get round to replying some 5 weeks later, they'd vanish off with the reply and then respond a few weeks after that asking for the survey link and date and times again! Scammers all the way! And I left after about 8 years with them, I never got a single product test.

I don't use One Poll, but I do use Ipsos (good), My Survey (ditto), Valued Opinions (not too bad at all) Toluna (slowwww gains) and Populus Live (getting there fairly slowly).

I also use Springboard (not too bad also) and re the bit I've put in bold, I won one of their prize draws earlier this year, £50 of Amazon vouchers. Until a few weeks ago my name was on the winners list on the site. So yes, people do win.

I'd agree others may pay prizes (though I'm yet to see them) but it was with OnePoll who I was questioning- do you know of anyone or have you won any of the £100 cash prizes from them? I get through far more of those then I do with any of the paid surveys, I was lucky enough to qualify for a 10p survey this week, was told "thankyou..etc" after doing the survey and then not paid! I complained but knowing this has happened in the past, all they do is email me back and ask me for the survey code of which I have no idea!

I've never won a prize draw with ANY survey panel, and I belong to more than 30 at last count! However, I don't think its a scam as these panels have countless thousands of members - I enter competitions as well and know how hard it is to win when there are so many "entries".

I'd add Populous Live to the list of great survey panels - they pay £1 for a five minute survey (although I'd say its nearer 10 minutes personally which still makes them one of the best for pay). The downside is cashout is £50 and they don't have a ton of surveys. However, after two years I have now hit my £50 and will be getting a cheque in January (they have set payment dates - if you have earned your 50 points before the end of a month then you will be paid in the first two weeks of the following month). They also do a lot of political surveys which I find to be an interesting change from endless food and mobile phone surveys.

I stick with Toluna, despite their crappy rates of pay, because I cash out my £15 with them at least twice a year - it would be more if I was prepared to do surveys via the site rather than via email but I've had problems with these not tracking and Toluna seem singularly uninterested when I report I've completed a survey but only got a prize draw entry. I won't do long surveys for tiny points though - a 30 minute survey for 2000 points got deleted immediately, we need more people to refuse to do the really low paid surveys with Toluna in order to force them to pay more. They usually take the full 8 weeks to pay as well, although I've noticed my last cashout email said 4-6 weeks so I'm expecting it to be 6. It really annoys me waiting weeks for an ELECTRONIC voucher when some panels pay either immediately or within a few days.

Valued Opinions used to be good but there aren't as many surveys as there used to be.

Harris Poll are good but again not so many surveys.

One Poll - I've hardly had any surveys from that, same with YouGov, so I think I'll drop those two, not worth the hassle.

Nope, same happened to me a few months back. They removed me from their list for "innacurate data". Only thought to tell me this when I emailed them regarding the lack of invites. I always diligently went through their surveys too.

I've filled in the contact us form in my account to ask them to check if there is any fault, I checked my hisory of surveys and I usually get around 20-30 a month and its now 0 for the last month so its a bit of a sudden change. Been using them for years even when they were called lightspeed.
    Thanx

Its great to see nice honest answers and experiences from people here!!

Will give my views as i know there is mixed opinions with all sites. I'm fairly new to this suvey stuff, only been doing surveys for a few months.

Valued Opinions - is the best one for me IMO. Have not recieved many surveys in the past month but still regularly getting £10 vouchers. Some credits do take time to go on though. You only need 10-15, 50p-£1 surveys mostly to get to limit compared to toluna where you would have to do hundreds!!

Toluna - one of the worst. I am never going to get to 80,000 points. Would have to do a million surveys with them!! I haven;t tracked my points but i can tell it will tak forever for them to go. Only do it now if i get a freebie out of it.

Mysurvey - Intially i got a few surveys, then i couldn't log in and i emailed them and they said maybe my details provided were inaccurate and to email them back. I didnt bother. So not been doing any surveys with them.

Ipsos - Again, they are better than Toluna. Points vary between 50 - 150 and you may credited with 5/10 points even if you do not qualify. Intial payout took 3 months to get to but in past month got sureys for higher points value so halfway there already.

Joined a few others but never got many invites for surveys from, so they are just ones on side if i ever get to their payout thresholds. Justtheanswer - i get screen out of all the surveys. mysurveyfriends - get one survey in a month. probably joined a few more but never reived any surveys so i don't even know the names of the sites!!!

I have not joined the sites who give you a cash payout. Allthough i would prefer cash, i am not prepared to hand over bank details. Thus, vouchers are still good because i can use it at stores i regularly shop at.

So how does one get an invite to join pinecone as im hearing positive reviews about them.

Just the Answer are the worst of all the ones I've tried - took two years to get to the £5 payout! Left them a few months back.

I know and you would think £5 would be easy to get to!

Wwith all the ones i have joined because i have a got a few points, i plan to just get to the threshold once and then quit, even if it takes forever!

Then just continue with the others that get regular surveys for.

With so many survey sites, they would realise people have choices and what makes them think people will continue with their sites if they are so poor?

You need to join Pinecone when they are recruiting, they only take new members at these times. Should get posted on here when they are plus its usually in a few of the daily freebie email newsletters. Not many surveys but £3 Paypal for every one and its credited within a couple of days.

Working Pinecone sign up links are maintained on this page: http://mysurvey123.com/index.php/Paid-Surveys-Reviews/Pinecone-Research.html

It may take many attempts at signing up to be accepted though. They claim to keep you details on record for (I think) a couple of weeks so I'd suggest trying to sign up every 3-4 weeks (it's what I did and eventually got in :) )
