  • i joined lpsos last week and was told it would be a couple of days before i would get my log in details while the account was sent up but now its a week and ive still heard nothing.

i have sent them 2 emails via there website and still nothing.

Has anyone had to wait this long for account to be set up?

I've been with IPSOS for a while so I can't comment on their timeliness as it has been too long for me to remember! But they are a valid survey company so I wouldn't worry about them taking a little time. Check your spam folders though as with all survey emails they often end up being mistakened for junk.

I've just earned enough with Ipsos for a £10 Amazon voucher, only to be told that they are out of stock. Does anyone have any idea when they might be back? :(

    Just a question:

OnePoll, (I'm thinking of leaving!) It has taken me the best part of 3 years to get to £36, it started off fairly well but has gotten so much slower as time has gone on and on my maths at the going rate I am looking at another 2 years to reach the £4 needed to cash out. That's if it doesn't slow any more then it is. (£2 so far since last year, whoo!)

Is this as slow for anyone else? Has anyone else noticed the painfully slow process getting even slower and even more frustrating as surveys always seem to cancel me out (I check twice a day every week day, I ususally get around 5 surveys per day, most I seem to be screened out of, the rest are all "prize" draws...year right, as if anyone actually wins those things!)

Anyone have any tips? I already check twice a day and have referred everyone I could think to refer!

I don't use One Poll, but I do use Ipsos (good), My Survey (ditto), Valued Opinions (not too bad at all) Toluna (slowwww gains) and Populus Live (getting there fairly slowly).

I also use Springboard (not too bad also) and re the bit I've put in bold, I won one of their prize draws earlier this year, £50 of Amazon vouchers. Until a few weeks ago my name was on the winners list on the site. So yes, people do win.

I've had loads the past week, but everyone is different and fits a different profile so that means little. BUT having none for a month, I'd suggest firing off an email. I went without any surveys for a couple of months from Valued Opinions and it turned out my account had been deactivated. No reason or explanation given, I'd been regularly completing surveys, but they reactivated and all's been fine since.

Thanks, I've always had regular surveys from them untill now and I would think my account is still active as I can log in. I'll give it another week or so then contact them.
    Thanx

I could still log in to my Valued Opinions account, everything was working as normal, just zero surveys.

Nope, same happened to me a few months back. They removed me from their list for "innacurate data". Only thought to tell me this when I emailed them regarding the lack of invites. I always diligently went through their surveys too.

Needless to say, I changed my IP address, signed up with a new email address and just entered and typed utter dross in everything they sent me, including typing things such as "mysurvey rip off respondents therefore all my previous answers are lies and my data is invalid" :rotfl:

Then I emailed to tell them what I did and how they can NEVER guard against this sort of thing, don't !!!! me off! They didn't reply :rotfl:

Do it all the time with toluna and their utterly derisory rewards and 8 week wait for a voucher. Still not been banned though. Obviously they don't give a !!!!.
  • I'm just posting my thoughts here as this seems to be THE thread for us survey takers. Kinda just want to summarise my findings and see who agrees/disagrees with me:

Toluna: Derisory payments and ULTRA slow payouts. Only do the product tests and 10000 point+ surveys

HarrisPoll: On the fence. They've halved their rewards, probably will continue.

Globaltestmarket: Have literally made thousands from them over the years. They went from 50 to 35 points a while back for most of their surveys, but sill pretty decent.

Panelbase.net: Quite a lot of DNQs, but made~ £100 in the last year. Decent.
Opinionbar: Again, a fair amount of DNQs but surveys pretty quick and cashouts are fast.

Pureprofile: Not an awful lot of surveys, but £125 this year. Decent!

AutoInsight: Taking the !!!!. Can't remember when the last PAID survey came through. Getting pretty poor.

Surveyhead: Keep banning and reinstating me. Weirdos and DO NOT trust them.

Pinecone: The daddy. Love them. Wish they had more surveys though.

HI-Epanel (part of Harris interactive). Been sitting on ~295 points for a year. Getting to 300 then binning them.

Valued Opinions: Did the same to me as lightspeed/mysurvey. Just re-signing up with a bot every £10. They've shown me no respect, so f*** them.

YouGov: Actually quite like them, £50 is a slog but the surveys are relatively frequent and quick. £50/year give or take is fine by me.

SurveyNetwork: Helluva dodgy. Albervaysbukh sends me ~£30 every month for surveys that doing through toluna would net me £5 for. Dodgy as hell, and I wonder how long it'll last, but I've made nearly £400 from them in the last year. Mint!

Response Panel: A fair amount of DNQs, but I've made ~£100 last year. Decent enough.

    On my shitlist:
    Spiderpanel: Seriously, what?
    Hiving: !!!! poor.
Nectar Canvass: Hahahahaa... how much? Suck em
