Anyone got any experience with
Populus Live and NewVista? Thinking to join them, i know payout threshold is high but how quick can you do it in?
Also anyone with American Consumer Online?
My experience with these sites:
Populus - In 2012 I received between 1 - 10 survey invites per month paying 1 - 4 points (£1.00 - £4.00). They say they pay £1.00 per 5 mins, however, I have found the surveys stated as 5 mins more often than not take 10+ mins, still worth it though.
NewVista - In 2012 I received between 3 - 8 survey invites paying 0.5 - 5 points (£0.50 - £5.00).
Do you mean American Consumer Opinion? If so:
American Consumer Opinion - Very few surveys, in 2012 I only received 2 survey invites (1 for a prize draw entry and 1 paying 15 - 300 points worth $0.15 to $3.00 but the survey had already closed when I attempted it so I didn't earn any points from surveys with them last year!
As with all the survey sites, I don't qualify for every survey.
Hope this helps0 -

I use both Populus and New Vista and usually reach at least one £50 payout each year. I find that you have to be quick to do the surveys as they seem to fill quite quickly.
The questions can appear repetitive and you need to make sure you don't rush through the surveys or they may not award your points but I think they are a couple of the better sites around.0 -

Hi
With Populus I usually get a £50 cheque every 6 months. Received a cheque two weeks ago. Same with Newvistalive. Both are popular sites and as mentioned by a previous poster you need to be quick.
American Consumer Opinion send surveys about once every 6 months or more.
Good luck. Let us know how you get on.:)Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -

Thank you. Seems great that you got one every six months. Hmm, i guess ACO aren't as great as the other two. Thank you i have registered but will just see how it goes and report back.
Just a query, i was reading one post from here of the do's and don'ts of surveying. So do you need to declare these as a source of income? Even if Its only vouchers mostly?
So far the best ones for me is Valued Opinions and Ipsos. Recently recruited onto pinecone thanks to link from member here. Going good, in the last month since i registered had 3 x £3 lunch vouchers.
Thinking to de-activate from all random ones i signed into and never heard back, like panel opinion, qark, swift insight (god knows what i signed up to) :rotfl: Will stick to recommended ones.0 -
Thank you for all your replies

Just checked my survey history on both and Populus has worked out more profitable. In three months I have earned £27 with £2 still to be added once survey quota is full. Out of every 10 or so surveys I get screened out of 1 or 2. I find the surveys usually interesting and topical and have never had a problem with them.
Last year I only received 1 cheque from NewVistaLive. I find they are a bit sporadic. I either get tons of survey invites a month or nothing at all. Credit where it's due though, my last redemption was at beginning of December and it took about 10 days to receive my cheque.
IMO, both sites pay well but I think your demogrphs will dictate your earning potential. If you only get one payout from each a year your still £100 better off so it's worth signing up. :T£10 a day challenge Jan: £163.31 / Feb: 151.61 / March: £163.43 / April: £142.84 / May £342.21 / June: £182.32 / £203.09

Thank you for the response. i signed up a few days ago. Today was the 1st time i got a survey from New Vista Live for 2 points. So £2 down, another £48 to go:rotfl:
Yes, my thinking exactly, even if i recieve one payout in a year, its still very good.
My besy survey site is actually valued opinions, even though i get screened out of loads, i get one survey invite daily.0 -
Valued Opinions has been pretty good for me too! This month has been a bit hit and miss with lots of surveys hitting my account already over quota despite me attempting them as soon as they appear.
Good luck with NVL and Populus, I think they're both great sites I just wish they had more surveys for me x£10 a day challenge Jan: £163.31 / Feb: 151.61 / March: £163.43 / April: £142.84 / May £342.21 / June: £182.32 / £203.09

Did anyone with NewVista take part in the monitoring of your broadband speed for 1 year - ended last September.
I was expecting to get a further payment at the end but don't appear to have been paid. Also not received a reply to my email.
Can anyone help please?0
