:rotfl: germish well spotted. That made me chuckle.

Thanks everyone for the compliments about my boys. It's put a smile on my face. It will probably sound better then if i say i haven't done anything other than dailies here and spent the best part of the day playing with my boys. DS1 had fun gluing some bits onto some paper - then pulling them all off again and putting them in the bin  (too tidy that one, but if it entertains him then i am not going to complain) and bathtime was enjoyed by both of them, and we were in the bathroom over an hour. And no crying today, so that must mean ds1 is feeling a bit neglected.

I also have a sore throat and headache, so i took some ibuprofen and went and had a half hour chill out in the bath - it was lovely - 1st one that was for relaxation since ds2 was born - finally we are getting somewhere with some sort of routine.

mudbath i wouldn't go either, but then i would use my boys as an excuse. I would feel so selfish spending that sort of money just on me.

lil-me you have been quiet today - hope you are ok

tinsel i thought your ds was 3 too. I have confused myself somewhere as he must be older to be at school.

Rach hopefully that commute will get better when the school hols start, or will it still be that busy? I have never used the DLR when out and about round london.

I think i am going to have to call it a night. DH is just washing up, i am feeling quite woozy and in need of bed. DH was like it yesterday so i hope i will feel better tomorrow.

cookie keep it up, I don't mind how long or short it is as long as everythings in there.
Michelle, I have been busy busy, I tried to post earlier but it didn't work, thanks for asking x Those boys are changing so much, they're even more alike! Great to hear you are managing to fit some me time and nice times with the boys in the day. I knew you'd crack it in no time ;)
vanilla that was lucky, honesty is so much rarer now, people are shocked when DP phones them to say they have left the phone/purse in his taxi.
Mudbath, your not being mean if you are happy with that choice. I tend to decline offers aswell.
rach sometimes you are better off not mentioning it and asking the PO for stamps to the value of the parcel, because some people think you have nothing better to do than goto the post office every ******* day!
    Dusty fingers crossed here!

Been very warm here today, meeting this morning, sorted demo night for the group. Went shopping then for some lunch then had to take DPs car back to the garage as there was too much oil in, by the time that was all done it was school finish time!

My butt hurts!!!! Decided to take DS2 back to a cycling group for disabled children (they have large go karts etc too) which had cricket on first and DP decided it would be a good idea to take our bikes. He had to ride mine at one point and agreed I need a new seat! Aching legs and butt now, joy. Oh he also said 'we should go every week' hmmmmmmm at least it's not on over the summer holidays!

Not done much housework or studying today and now I am too tired to be arsed. I need a shower so think I will get in now. Had no dinner yet, too warm, might have to make myself something. I've got a real fancy for beans on toast....
One day I might be more organised...........

Explained the rudiments of tennis to A whilst watching Andy Murray lose! She called Nadal 'longy' on account of the length of his hair :rotfl: we got the flapjacks made ready for work in the morning. She is so excited now, I am hoping she will help me get W organised in the morning as we need to leave here 30 mins earlier than usual to drop W off at PIL

Right all those with bank accounts 'for the journey' (current ad theme) keep an eye on them tomorrow, A is at the helm so if you see extra 000's on your balance you know who to thank ;)

The best way to deal with a blister is to:
i know i wasnt the asked person but i run half marathons (when i get the chance) and used to be a professional ballet dancer these are the directions i used to follow

    1. if a blister is holding liquid then puncture it
    2. cut away all the dead skin
    3. clean the blister with rubbing alcohol or an antiseptic to sterilize and toughen the new skin.
    4. expose it as much as you can to the air. It will help it dry

this is all you can do but if you feel abit evil iodine works wonders but expect him to shout the house down lol but it might make him think twice about whinging lol

    Morning all

Was up at 4 this morning. Some evil little flying thing had bit me at some point and I had a very itchy, very swollen bite on my leg. Rifled through the first aid drawer and found some bite ease stuff which is only 2 months out of date :o and whacked a bit of that on. It stank to high heaven of ammonia but took the itch away almost immediately. The swelling's down quite a bit this morning too. It said 'do not use after 4 08' so do you think it was OK for me to use it? But, I managed to get back to sleep so that was OK.

Pigpen, for blisters, getting as much air as possible to it is right. But, what you also can do when shoes need to be worn is get some of that shiny backed burn dressing and tape that over it. It stops the blister sticking to stuff. I've also used those clear blister plasters with success in the past too. It's important that it doesn't get mucky otherwise infection could set in.

Right off to the bath and then work. Have a good day ladies

    Morning All

I've been up since 5 and have been attempting to clear the sides in the kitchen but it is looking a lot better in there. I've also got the WM on but it's now started to rain so I shan't be putting anything on the line.

Hope everyone's has a good day

    Morning Everyone!

I can't believe it's Thursday already. Really got to get on with the extras in my list or I'll be spending the weekend doing them.

    Here's my challenge for today.

    Still to do
Scrub down the woodwork.. skirtings, door frames etc
    Sort out all the medicine

    Level One
Open the window and air the room
    Level Two
Put the floordrobe in the wardrobe
Find 10 things to get rid of!.. no men/women/children/pets
    Level Three
    Vacuum the whole house
Remove anything that should be elsewhere.. your bedroom is NOT a shed!!
Remove some dust bunnies and wipe over the light shades
    Extras
    • Wash any curtains that need doing
    • binbag dance
    • Clean the windows
    • 15 minutes sort out of the landing gibble.. see if you can find something to rehome!
    • Spend 15 minutes tackling food cupboard
    • Wipe the woodwork in these areas
    • Sort out the bags of "stuff" in the spare bedroom
    • Box for Ebay
    • List at least 3 items on Ebay
    • Return DVD's
