I sympathise pigpen, i also have a fine layer of plaster over my nice clean living room and kitchen. Hubby took our lights out and put downlights in instead in the hall, kitchen/livingroom. Got most of it hoovered up last night when they finished but will definately need to mop.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Morning everyone, set the alarm for 6 this morning but slept through and only got up at 9. Had planned to get a load of flying done, and done a pile of lists last night of what needs doing.
Hubby heading to scotland this weekend so it will be a very early start tomorrow morning, he needs to be in the town at 5am.
Right cuppa down my neck and 2 kids fed and changed only 1 to waken. Plan is to get wm on and start the kitchen. Back later to update.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Morning.
Not much to do here - quick tidy round and then dust downstairs and then I'm ready to go watch DS swim in the school gala.
Just been checking my credit card statement and think one our cards must have been cloned. Loads of things on there that don't tally with my spreadsheet. Can't get the cards cancelled yet though as DH needs to pay for his hotel room in Hong Kong later. Never mind he can sort it tomorrow when he gets home, along with repairing DD bike tyre, DS gears on his bike, installing some outdoor electrics for the kids pool and mowing the lawn lol. Like to keep him busy.
Hope everyone has a good day.0 -
Morning all
It was pouring with rain in the night (about 2.45 when I woke up) but at the moment it's dry and bright although it doesn't look settled. I've hung out a load of washing. *watches sky*
Tidied round everywhere and vacuumed through downstairs. I'm going to do the bathroom and toilet in a minute (or ten). Not much going on.
Hope everyone's OK0 -
Thanks re the idea for hubbys blister.. he won't let me cut it off.. mainly because he has to go to work!! He will simply not be able to walk once it is off.. but I am doing it tomorrow the minute he gets in from work.. he has antiseptic spray on it.. a melonin pad and a stretch bandage.. it is weeping that much he has to have it held on with bandage.. plasters just peel off as soon as they are wet.. plus they slide about on the sole of your foot.
Half of it appears to have healed but I am getting a bit concerned that it is infected now.. it may just be inflammed from the run or from the stupid strap he was wearing on Monday. He may well prepare better next time he does a run and use an iota of common sense and not use 2 heel pads.. d!ckhead!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Bathroom and toilet done now (cleaned toilet, sink, bath, wiped down tiles and window sill, washed floors).
