Hopeless here this morning. WM on for 2nd time. First load has been on the line since 7 so should be dry now. Not a cloud to be seen atm.

Apart from that and a quick flit in the kitchen, nothing. DS2 seems adamant that the way forward is sitting on my lap watching CBeebies today. Will get him down for his nap shortly and take it from there.

    Morning all

Pigpen - i made plum jam last week - it worked well - you can use regular sugar and not the more expensive jam stuff.

Lil_me hope DP gets on ok at the dentist

Davgirl hope you CC works for hubbie and that you get it sorted out.

Bother it has just started to rain and I was about to put wash out.

Plan for the day - HHC housework - first one done followed by HHP (paperwork) again first one done - throughout the day until my car is ready to be picked up.

Cuppa then next HHC - upstairs all tidied so will tidy downstairs and attempt to hoover next.

Morning all. I've had a lovely breakfast courtesy of a friend who I see twice a year for breaky to catch up. It was her turn to pay so that was quite nice!! We went to Lakeland and the jug I really wanted was there and in the sale. We've been saying we need a jug for about three years as we always have to put custard, cream etc in the gravy boat!!! I've also paid sponsorship money so that's all sorted too. Definitely want to raise more next year but every little bit counts.

I'm going to find my list and get started. Hugs to all xx

Morning all (only just, but still morning all the same ;) ). How are you all today?

I didn't get much done yesterday, just some dailies and a couple of extras :o

I haven't done anything this morning yet either. I've been away at DS's nursery graduation all morning. Can't believe my wee man is a big school boy now  . I felt so sorry for him though because the teachers have been moaning at him to sing and singing isn't a strong point of his at all. They put him at the front of the stage so everyone could see him and you could tell by looking at him how awkward he felt, he was fidgeting and trying to hide behind all the other kids, poor wee guy. We just made a big deal about how great he looked and how well he'd done once it had finished and he seemed happy enough, but honestly what is the need?!? If the poor guy doesn't want to sing why should he have to?

I'm torn this morning, do I

    a) bash on and get flying as the place has gone downhill and is a bit of a mess to say the least, plus DD finishes school tomorrow and I wont stand a chance of doing it after that.

    or

    b) enjoy DS being in a very good, lovely, amazing mood today? We've had a great morning already with the graduation and then we had a wee snack in the garden and played some football which he was loving. It's a lovely day too, so I was considering giving all the housework a miss again and taking him and DD2 to feed the ducks :D

Not caught up with the thread yet, sorry guys but I will have a look through in a little while.

Oh also do you think a £10 M&S voucher is a suitable present for a teacher? I wouldn't usually spend that much but I haven't got time to go out and buy something and I have a voucher lying that I got from Pigsback, so it wont actually cost me anything to give (except £10 of my christmas fund) Plus the teacher is a really good one :D Or do you think I'd be better just nipping to the local shop for a box of chocolates or something like that?

    Another little break.

Doing well with the tidying and one more HHC should see it finished off - cleaning is another thing.

Cookie - enjoy your son today, the mess will still be there tomorrow. The £10 voucher would be most appreciated by the teacher - she will get heaps of choccies/candles and mugs. If you can 'afford' to remove it from your fund and it saves you a job then do it knowing she will be delighted.

Right I have to post on a local board now, long story about our conservation area. I have never posted there before so need to get the tone right as I know newbies are not always welcome (apart from hear where we are lovely!)

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I've finally finished chapter 2 :j:j:j This time its not all gone in, but the main jist seems to and I sailed through the income tax bit as I sorted that all out for ex when HMRC messed it up ;)

Just taking a break now to eat and answer the 8 texts from my friend I've received in the last hour  I've taken to not replying to every single one and trying to keep them as short as possible - I've topped up £95 on my mobile in the last 33 days (and that includes £15 on a bundle) and I'm down to £2.02 again  Roll on the 14th!!! It wouldn't be so bad if all my mates where on the same network but there's only ex & DD on the same one, everyone of my friends are on different networks so I couldn't even swap to another one to save money texting a couple of them  Oh well these things happen.

Right, 1 game for 10 minutes then I'm going to do "Tutorial 2"
