OK for those who need motivation just look at me! I am the original lazy a*se, you only have to look at our house to see that! Good job our friends take us they find us without passing comment!

So baby steps it is and wooohooo I have cleared not 1 BUT 2 steps of the stairs!!!!! :rotfl: it's a start :p and yes I know the stairs should be clear at all times and yes when they are I love it, but the problem is they are a flat surface and flat surfaces are good dumping grounds!

I bagged up some old paint pots that were lying around the garden storage and disposed of them too (some?! about 7 actually and there's a couple more to go in next week's bin).

Your old paint pots might be of use at the local school. I knew a metalwork/woodwork teacher who was always on the look out for tins of paint for use in lessons. Might be worth asking.

Tinselfairy - Apparantly you never forget how to ride a bike, although the thought of getting on one now would freak me out lol, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it in no time though ;)

Dusty- Yes DS does this too. His speech is good and if he wants to he can express himself very well verbally but he will choose not to. He will lash out if people laugh at him etc. If he cries and people are around he hides his face and if they give him any attention he will lash out. Strangely I am the only one he is OK with when this happens. I say strangely as usually it's me (or his sisters) that get the brunt of his anger/violence.

Boddy - It must feel great when you see clients enjoying something like that and seeing what a difference you can make by something as simple as taking her swimming :D Must be very rewarding for you.

Pigpen - What a great way of looking at it. Yes we are all amazing BUT you have to admit you are pretty fab! And what the heck did those 3 people do to you?!?

Hev - Good luck. Isn't it terrible we have to tidy up for health visitors coming? They probably wouldn't even care, but you're right, it gives you a little bit of motivation to do it ;)

GnB - The "not venturing into bedrooms" syndrome is very much going on in my house too lol. Downstairs looks ok though :p

Michelle - How have you achieved this with DS? My DD2 sleeps in our bed too and is currently waking every hour from 12am till 6am for a feed!!! Any tips much appreciated :D

lil_me - How the worm situation? PM'd you yesterday btw and now keeping a mega diary of EVERYTHING :rotfl: started this morning,
    Started comping 29/10/2010

WINS: 29/10 - bag of Skittles :T, Max Factor make up :j

Restarted Comping June 2011 - June wins: Cushelle Koala, Starbucks book and £5 card

Hello all, been awol since Monday due to Flying elsewhere!

DS moved into a new rented house with two mates yesterday so when the estate agent finished doing the piccies at my house I drove 45 miles over there in the lovely sunshine to see if they needed a hand with anything.

Popped to the supermarket to get them some cleaning stuff (they had hardly any, boys eh!) and decided to cook them something nice as they were all so busy and tired as they had been up until 3am the night before packing.

Kitchen looked OK when I first saw it, but opened the cupboards, fridge and the oven and they were minging!!! So I have cleaned 2 kitchens this week :rotfl:

Finally got home at 11 last night .........

I have been busy here this morning so I am going to take the afternoon off and watch the tennis :j

Will go back and catch up on the thread now and see you all later.

I know it's my own fault, but still!! The kids got up at 7amish and sneaked downstairs. I didn't put the new baby gate on the kitchen door and when I heard them, well DS1 playing in his room, DS2 had the hot tap running in the kitchen (long enough that the kitchen was warm and steamy), the jar of instant coffee opened, the tea pot full of water and coffee and tea bags, the pasty brush was being used to paint the kitchen with instant coffee!!!!

This living room and kitchen was SPOTLESS when I went to bed and now it's covered in gooey coffee! DS2 is evil! ARGH!!! Then he did a poo in the bedroom... I sat him on the loo told him NOT to move while I collected said poo and he moved and now there is poo and coffee all over the toilet seat, the bath is minging cos I had to bath him and I have had ENOUGH!

Ans this is after my massive blow out last night with DH and them for being PITA's and wrecking their room yet again!

Sod my list, if THEY want to live in a hovel then they can bloody well live in a hovel on their own!

    Morning
Can't believe how much I've done already today, it must be the cooler weather:
    Vacuumed the whole house.
    Dusted upstairs
    Tidied kids bedrooms
    Cleaned 3 bathrooms
    Cleaned the kitchen
    Mopped all hard floors
Just got to dust downstairs but I might do that tomorrow
Going to nip to the pet shop and Aldi in a minute - better get some food as DH is back on Friday morning. I won't have time tomorrow as DS is swimming in a school gala so I have to go and watch.
    Have a good day everyone.
