And just as I finish typing last post on comes the rain - well F it the washing is out and out it bloody well will stay!!

Mudbath - I did a six month social work placement at a hospice - best job I ever had. Sure it can be sad but it is also the most 'positive' place I have ever worked. So much so that I decided to make 'bereavement' my 'specialty'. PS DH thinks I am nuts!!

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

tiamai_d - I'm sorry you had a bad start to the day. :( I sympathise with you. It's situations like that that bought me to this thread in the first place. My OH is hopeless at cleaning and will sit and watch the boys creating havoc and wrecking the house.

Where has the morning gone? Been having an email conversation and trying to read Memorygirls make do and mend thread, and another friend is texting me so occasionally having to reply back to him as well:rolleyes:

BM is on, I'm unbeliveably hungry again today  Think it might have been all the white bread over the weekend, along with crisps etc :o Decided not to strip the beds for two reasons 1) I can't be bothered :p 2) now they've been airing since 8am they acutally don't seem that bad :rotfl:

I really need to get on with some jobs. -15 mins in the kitchen then I'm going to spend a HHC reading my OU book ;) Right dishes away..........

    Morning all

One load of washing done, it half dried outside before the rain started and it's hung up indoors now.

Dusted and vacuumed the living room and vacuumed through hallway and kitchen. S&Sd kitchen. Emptied all the indoor bins. Tidied medicine cupboard and got rid of empty boxes etc (why do people put empty boxes back when the bin is one step to the left?). Hopefully it won't all fall out now when I'm trying to get an ibuprofen.

I want to know who the three people are too (that Pigpen wants to kill). What have I done? Paranoid, me?

cookie no tips for getting babies to sleep through. It could have helped that he had his jabs yesterday, but also, i let him breastfeed for as much as he wants in the evening, we put him on the settee to sleep till we go to bed, and then he usually wakes as we go up, and i feed him more and hope for the best. Also, i have decided to ignore all advice and let him sleep on his stomach as it is the only way he is comfy unless he is in with us, and i think personally the bigger cot death danger is how hot it is in with us, particularly when he wants to snuggle so close. I thought with ds1 it was because i gave him a bottle of formula on an evening, but i think it has more to do with how much they weigh - my 2 boys are both porkers for there age. Also, i am not going to feed him lying down in bed anymore as i just fall back asleep and he messes and feeds for hours with me waking up every few minutes and him fussing - last night 20 minutes maximum of feeding him, and then he was back in the travel cot.

I know it's my own fault, but still!! The kids got up at 7amish and sneaked downstairs. I didn't put the new baby gate on the kitchen door and when I heard them, well DS1 playing in his room, DS2 had the hot tap running in the kitchen (long enough that the kitchen was warm and steamy), the jar of instant coffee opened, the tea pot full of water and coffee and tea bags, the pasty brush was being used to paint the kitchen with instant coffee!!!!

This living room and kitchen was SPOTLESS when I went to bed and now it's covered in gooey coffee! DS2 is evil! ARGH!!! Then he did a poo in the bedroom... I sat him on the loo told him NOT to move while I collected said poo and he moved and now there is poo and coffee all over the toilet seat, the bath is minging cos I had to bath him and I have had ENOUGH!

Ans this is after my massive blow out last night with DH and them for being PITA's and wrecking their room yet again!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about your terrible morning BIG ((((HUGS)))) but you've got to love the little horrors!! Bet they look like angels when there asleep.:D

Sit down, have a cuppa and chill.

Your DH sounds a little like mine. I'll be cooking Dinner whilst DD & DS running around house, creating havoc and DH apparently watch them.
