Hope your day get better Tia, its never ending isnt it?
Had a long walk with LO to B&Q then nipped to scotmid on the way back and got some bits and pieces. Including an icecream for her as she has been very good all morning.
Just going to tidy lunch stuff away then will do some ironing while the tennis is on.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

I popped in briefly to join just prior to our move, but spent most of my time packing and lurking. Now we've moved, and I've spent the last couple weeks unpacking and lurking, as well as being rather ill. Now that I'm (hopefully) on the mend, and have at least a majority of the unpacking completed, I've got to clean! Not really sure where to start though. I know as soon as I get a good cleaning routine down and have everything in order, DH will be ready for us to start painting and doing some DIY which will completely throw everything out of whack! But I have to at least get started somewhere.
tiamai_d - sorry it's been such an awful day! My DD used to get into some real messes in about 2 seconds flat it seemed! I still remember breaking out into a fit of the giggles when my sister's kids were little and they threw eggs at the ceiling to see "if they'd break and plop down - or just stay on the ceiling" - while she was sleeping - what a mess to wake up to in the morning! It's always funny LATER, but generally not at the time. Hope your day gets better.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. Douglas Adams0 -
Aw Michelle they are so cute!!! Thank you
Suddenly yoru DS1 looks very grown up and DS2 is getting big quick! All that feeding is doing something eh? The nurse who gave ds2 his jabs said - no need to ask if feeding is going well - he is a big boy, i bet coming up to the stone mark now - fab for toning up my arm muscles
Is that dungagrees DS2 is wearing in the middle pic? I used to love dungarees, so easy for bottom changes!
you are sounding a bit more chilled. Part of being a mum isn't it endlessly cleaning the same things - that's why baby gates are a god send as we restrict the mess to the living room/dining room usually - although, the dining table is now covered in rice and korma, fruit compote and banana mush, and the last wipe it was yoghurt, and the time before that, fruit loaf and jam.
I keep thinking this time will pass and enjoy it while you can, and stick to damage limitation, and learn to hide more and more things above his arm reach, which is getting impossible as he can reach things in the middle of the kitchen bench and climb onto the dining chairs all by himself. I am grateful he hasn't ever wanted to play with my ornaments.
I bet you sort out that babygate today thoughtriggles wrote:tiamai_d - sorry it's been such an awful day! My DD used to get into some real messes in about 2 seconds flat it seemed! funnier when it is someone elses kids and not your own though - i dread my boys getting older0 -
Thanks for the support everyone. It is funny really, trying to make coffee at 3... now....
So Kitchen has been scrubbed, dishes done.
Floor hoovered and mopped. You have no idea how hard it is to get instant coffee off a wood floor! Scrubbing and scrubbing, then sluicing with hot water and mopping off.
Cleaned tables and laundry hamper that were also covered in coffee.
I think it's time for lunch :coffee: and then get ready and take these two brats out for the day try and tire them out! HA!! :rotfl:
Oh wait, better clean the loo firs cos I need a pee.0 -

Hi everyone, big hugs to everyone who needs one. I haven't managed to catch up on the thread yet but will later.
Flying has went to pot over the last few days. We were out last night and i managed to loss my phone, was totally gutted because i'm normally very careful. Decided i'd send a message to it from hubby's phone just saying whoever found it could they please ring this number. Thought it was a long shot but some man rang last night to say he found it and would hand it into the police station this morning so rang them this morning and the man has:j so a trip later 30 miles away but so worth it. The best of it is we found a phone a while ago and returned it to it's owner so what goes around comes around.:rotfl:
Right better get kids ready and go get my phone.:j :j :jSometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
