    Welcome GreenMG

And thanks Pigpen for the kitchen tomorrow - means I have a day off - I did it all this morning :D

DS finally surfaced after his night out on the lash about 2pm. He is 28 today. He said he was asked for ID last night at one of the places he went to which had us rolling about with laughter. Have just opened the celebratory and traditional birthday bottle of champagne so cheers

Dinner is slightly delayed - I went on to face book (after nearly falling asleep on the sun lounger in the garden - which would not have been a good idea as I'm fair skinned and I was in full sun without any cream on) and sort of got lost in it :o I'm firmly out of it again now and the spuds are about to go into roast so it's not tooo disasterous a delay.

But, I'm pooped after all the jollification over the weekend and suspect I'll be in bed early (oh bum - just realised, the bedding's still on the line so I'll have to make the bed before I fall into it) ready for work tomorrow.

And, I have to do it all again (but hopefully on a smaller scale - i.e. no overnight guests) in two weeks time when it's my birthday.

Right, off to put these spuds in the oven.

    Evening folks

OH doing his ironing, and muttering about how to fill up the steam iron!

Test ran my freecycle greenhouse heater, and it seems to have a hole in the bottom, which is no good what so ever!

Just waiting for my ebay stuff to come to an end tomorrow and see how much I have made.

Serena - we plan to stay for 20 years or so which is why it matters so much to get it right. The biggest problem is the two foot thick limestone walls, you don't easily add new pipes or windows so we are trying to work with what we have. I just remembered about the Shelter architect thing - £40 donation to Shelter for a visit from an architect to make suggestions. Closing date is 1st July so must have a chat with DH when he gets back as that might be the best way forward.

Vanilla - I have a few tiny toms just starting as well, and a cucumber and a courgette. I was pathetically excited. Not doing very well with the weeding. I either neglect the house, the garden or the children.

Hi, I'm in again this week. Thanks Pigpen for the lists - I don't know how you do everything you do. I struggle to keep up with everything and there is only 4 of us.

Just off to catch up on last weeks thread.

    Have a good evening

I'm going to try to be in.....but I HAVE to study. House is clean and tidy except for the dirty dishes in the kitchen :o Won't take long to sort that out, I just can't be bothered ATM as I'm hungry and waiting for tea to cook.

    Catch you later

  • Hello - can I join you?

I've been lurking for a while, but never seem to get past Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm hoping that posting will motivate me through the whole week. Next week is my first week back at work after two weeks off, when I've pretty much ignored all the housework, so there's quite a lot to be done!

    Ok, I'm in again.
One question though, Do we always do the kitchen on Monday and Lounge on Tuesday?
Only they are looking fine but the rest of the house not so, as I lose momentum by Wednesday morning.
