    Morning all

Tinselfairy - congratulations! Really pleased for you!

Well I'm just about to start finishing off my [STRIKE]tip[/STRIKE] bedroom. Got loads done yesterday:j and just want my bedroom to look like a bedroom again! Then on to the kids rooms as my DH managed to get the living room to almost look like a living/dining room again!

Feeling in a tiz as we now have 9 days to leave here:eek: and DH's regiment are still dragging their heels regarding removals:mad: . Apparently we will still have to leave but our furniture cant get moved till August:mad: ! Then someone had the cheek to suggest DH leaves me and the kids here and goes home to get a job and we move in August:confused: . Great idea except after 9 days we lose all entitlement to healthcare or education according to army rules. Charming! He answered that he wasn't about to abandon us here just because they want him to.

He is in a meeting this morning re the investigation. Apparently the co will get the report this week after all other parties have been interviewed and he is hoping to have a decision to us by the middle of the month:confused: . Nothing like taking the michael and keeping us hanging on:mad: . My thoughts are not really positive as it looks to me like the regt have made their minds up to close ranks and they won't be swayed.

But enough about this [STRIKE]mess[/STRIKE] situation.

Am off to declutter my bedroom more. I will get 3 of the bedrooms done today:D !!!!!!!

See you all later. D xxx

Lil me - hugs. Both my parents were teachers and I think we got treated as a matter of routine every few months. I stll think the pink dotty things in licorice allsorts are called worm tablets because that was what they looked like. I treat my boys every couple of months just because they are dirty little monsters.

Tinselfairy - congratulations, really pleased for you.

Ironing - I used to but then read on here about folding stuff warm from the tumble dryer which works really well. I just do DH's work stuff - and I have an ironing press which cuts the time right down.

We have visitors tomorrow so I need to clean downstairs, not sure if they are staying overnight so will have to whizz through upstairs just in case.

Poor DS1, dropped him off at school and he started talking to one of the boys in his class who promptly put his hands over his ears and did la la la I am not listening to you, and then when we went in to the cloakroom the worst child in the school said you are really naughty and no one likes you to my poor DS. He is only 5, I was really proud of him because he just put his chin up and marched into school. It is killing me not being able to help. I have spoken to his teachers who say that he plays well with the others although he has no particular friends - and the two boys in question are amongst the worst behaved in the class. Can't blame him for not wanting to go to school though, I din't want to leave him either and I am not the soft parenting type.

Page 6 already! I've just had a quick glance through this page - I love ironing but I never seem to have time. At the moment I literally have a room full.

DS has started into the habit of shoving things up his nose. Every time he sneezes I wait to see what comes out!

Anyway, point of posting - thank you pigpen for putting up the list, and I do desperately need to get to level three every day at least until Thursday which is when the Health Visitor is coming. The HV is really nice, helpful and pleasant, and could no doubt cope with the house in the state it is in, but it is a great excuse for me to run round hysterically and scream about cleaning.
    Always another chapter

Going to walk to school again this afternoon, have a couple of bits to do at the PO on the way.

I am off for a cuppa and some mind numbing tele before I get back to the list.
