prettypennies, my sons new school have option of getting initials embroidered on, ok sometimes there is 2 kids with the same initials but it's much easier to locate a missing jumper this way. Downside is they can't be recycled as easy (apart from families who have children with the same first name etc there are a few)
ifits, hope your DS1 is ok.
tia tut tut :rotfl: I am sure it wasn't for no reason!
Awww hex that's not nice at all for him, I am sure what goes around will come around with these 2 boys, it always does.
Promised nice weather here was a lie, cloudy and threatening to rain when I have a washing pile even pigpen would be proud of after stripping beds etc. I have decided to tell DS1 as a way to get him to keep his nails cut, he still resisted but they're done and we've negotiated a weekly check.
Kids eating stuff :rotfl: just had a conversation with DS1s lovely LSA about that, they have a boy in his class who will eat anything (he's 8) slugs, snails, worms and most common is gluesticks! They usually have 3-5 go missing a week that he's eaten :rotfl: My friend childminds a girl who is a walking vacuum cleaner (she's 2) last week it was a 5p piece, usually she eats it at home, just the cm is asked to watch for them reappearing!
Mam's gone to work thankfully as she spent the whole morning moaning about my Dad, I've told her to get another estate agent in, they haven't even had a viewing in over a year with the current one. Just wish the house would sell so they could go their seperate ways and get on with things.
Washing machines never stopped all morning, I need to go shopping but I really can't be arsed. The boys for a change are behaving, they've had one bickering/fighting match all morning, miracle! They're doing well with the keeping clean, washing hands and keeping pants on rules, how long that will last I don't know. So much needs doing I can't decide what to do next**wanders off to find list**
One day I might be more organised...........

I've lurked around your flylady thread long enough, I completely fed up with my housework:mad: , courtesy of my DD(4) and DS(2) and don't even get me started on the ironing. So it's time to join in and hopefully keep on track by updating thread.
Ironing tips please!!!
Do you guys have any tips to minimse ironing, by the time I've changed beds, washed/drier and iron all my bed linen. I can't be bothered starting on my mountain of ironing.
Anybody see me online this week, please kick me off to get my ironing under control.
One way I have found a time saver is to put you clothes straigh out of the WM onto hangers (i.e, dresses, shirts, trousers, skirts, everything!) and hang up to dry, I live in a flat without a tumble dryer so this usualloy involes hanging from curtain rail byu open windows if it is a nice day. Your clothes dont tend to crease and the just drop out, and your clothes are all ready to be hung in your wardrobe saving that annoying putting away bit when everything is dry!
Ironing is my pet hate, lucly I only iron clothes when I want to wear them now spend alot less time doing this boring task!0 -
Afternoon ladies
ifits hope your LO is ok
Prettypennies how old is the child with the missing top? I go in and sort though if DS3 has lost something but he is only 6
Tia come on spill the beans we will all side with you anyhow
G&B well done on the sale shopping
I've been out and done most of my out of house jobs - forgot to take the parcel so will walk down to the corner shop (whilst PO is still there) in a minutes.
Going to find and update my list then, put another wash out and HHC in the kitchen.
Mum coming over to watch over DS3 whilst I do GP/ortho/cricket runs
Lil_me - did the GP give you a script or did you go for OTC - thinking of asking for something when I go later with DS1 as mine haven't been done for ages and they 2 are nail chewers - disgusting habit! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Forgot to say Ovex comes in tablet form for ages 2 years and up, or liquid form for babies, children and adults who hate tablets. You get it on prescription or you can buy it from chemist or online if your too feart to go to GP or chemist
I'm the one who notices first if we have the 'festation. And we use the Ovex. Kills worms but not eggs, so have to have a deep clean and we usually re-treat as a precaution.
Off to get bunny food and collect DS10 -

Dusty I'm waiting for a 'telephone appointment' with the GP at 3.20pm to speak to them, they offer this for issues that can be dealt with over the phone, receptionist suggested it. She said 'they usually do them on prescription which will save you buying it' so hopeful. Could do without the extra cost at the mo if possible.
Just had an arguement with DP who is now being as awkward as he possibly can about holidays. Gone to book one, he said we could go away until the Thursday and then the Friday for the week of my birthday, now he's saying he can't take any time off work at all so would have to come back earlier................wondering if it was worth buying this caravan, he's waited until I've spent £10k before being awkward!!! I want to go away for my birthday, it's my 30th and I can't be faffed with the fuss, so wanted to be away. Grrrr. Will talk to him again when he's calmed down. One day I might be more organised...........

Well I've spent the day catching up with the dishes, (just some bulky things to do now) and some laundry. Mostly I've had my mate here using my computer but we ended up sitting watching videos on Youtube instead
:rotfl: Oh well, he's working all week so I can catch up then with the kitchen (doesn't need much anyway) - I made progress with studying though - I actually got my book out off the shelf and opened it before he asked me a finanical question and I ended up shutting it again
:rotfl::rotfl:
Nearly time for the school run so I best put the washing out and another load in. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
