I had to ring about twenty times before I actually got through to them. It seems to come round again so quick.
Well first load of washing out, so fingers crossed for a dry day.
I have just noticed going through the twins school jumpers that their 4 newest one are not there  . The are all labelled so hopefully they will return home eventually. I have asked them to look through the lost property at school. DS1 said yeah but the tubs full to the top with jumpers, how am I suppose to find mine!
Any ideas to incentivise them to have a good look (theaten to send them to school in my pink fluffy cardis if they don't find them maybe?)Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -

HHI- is Half Hour Ironing. HHG Half Hour Gardening.
Have to say I am one of those that doesn't iron. Don't even own one  My mum borrowed it and still hasn't given it back so if something NEEDS to be ironed then i ask mum if she will do it. Handy really
Tinselfairy-such wonderful news. Hope you will be able to share a photo (if you are allowed)
didn't get much done in the house at the weekend but did spend a while in the garden and now have 4 bags of weeds etc. That doesn't even include mowing the lawn. Have bindweed everywhere.
JillD glad you feel that you are getting somewhere with the cleaning :d
Had so much to say and now can't remember-must write it down.

Dont iron a) Dh work clothes (he works from home)
b) fitted sheets, wrinkles disappear if you pull them tight enough
c) underwear, towels, tea towels (my sister does!!!!)
Have to iron a) my work clothes
b) pillow cases and duvet but I did by a wrinkle look one from M&S which is just great!!
tumble dryers don't make much difference TBH.. or maybe that is cos I leave everything in until I need either the dryer or the items within.. and I only use mine for undies normally though in winter other bits are thrown in.. heavy stuff is dried on the rads in winter.
hubby irons his works shirts.. doing one now as it happens..
DS1 has done his own ironing since he was 11
DD1 asked why I don't iron the other eek s she has to wear crumpled clothes lol.. I said feel free to do your own..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning all!
Looks like a mostly dry day ahead here. I got off to a flying start today which bodes well for the rest of the day.
How long does one remain a newbie? Just out of curiosity.
Off to have a shower now and will then crack on.

What do you do to stop the baby getting hold of inappropriate pointy or chokable small toys of the bigger ones ?
I never did.. I always allowed mine to play with it too.. DD1 once swallowed a ball.. marble sized from a game of my sisters and once swallowed one of the little bits of lego.. the ones with 4 lumps on.. Other than that we never had any problems.. both passed out the other end NP.
cellophane is a much greater danger.. they put it in their mouth and choke on it and you can't even see it to drag it out. Coins are a biggy for choking on too.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
