I have completely failed to keep up with this thread :o

Need to go out for eggs today and milk, but fingers crossed that is all.

(that is, if I can resist the readicut wool catalogue)

Please can anyone help? I would like to make the Weetabix Cake from the index, have all the ingredients, but please could anyone translate the temperature into Gas Mark? Is it something like 7 or 8?

    Many thanks for help.

Just want to say hugs to all and thanks for the support I have already had. I may be over my budget, but I am continuing to track it and I will not go down without a fight.

Hullo...nothing much to report but following this thread is an addiction. OH was ill last night and really really wanted a Chinese meal so I gave in and we went to the local place. The portions were so big we each got half our meals packed so that's two meals for the price of one! (And it only cost £15 to start with!)

Eating out comes from a different budget so I'm pleased to report 3 NSDs in a row. Enough cooked meals in the freezer to feed us this week so shouldn't need anything till Saturday. Then again OH is going to the library today and I'm not there to stop him "popping into the shops"!

On a different note I keep reading about Mrs Mc. Who is this and where has she been. Sorry to be nosey but I have only been doing this for a little while.

MrsMcawber is a GC star. She was looking after the list up until this month. But unfortunately due to family reasons has had to travel back to the UK and has been unable to take part so far this month. (((MrsM))) you have been greatly missed and we are all so sorry about your news.

Hi everyone, thanks for the comments Re: DS Arm. I worry all the time, I know I couldn't have stopped it happening. Just feel sorry cos he'll have a boring summer. I won't relax until we've been back next week. Last time he did the same thing and a week later had to go to theatre and have a plate in. He is 9, so at least he understands the need to stay still fo a while and can tell me how he feels etc.

    Hello everyone
Just a short mail to say that Mr M is not doing the price crunch offers this week, apparently they were supposed to be doing it every week,
Manager said that because of the chaos last week they had decided not to do it. Thought it was too good to be true.

Hope you all sleep well goodnight

Are you sure? They were advertising on TV yesterday, but I walked in at the end and didn't see what it was?

Hi, folks just caught up with the thread again.

Got to add 95p to my spend, bought magazine and a pint of milk from local shop.

My mums next door neighbour gave me loads of rhubarb from her garden, so i see rhubarb crumble on the menu this week.
Cooked the rhubarb yesterday so its just waiting for the topping.
