Just found this website - don't know if it's genuine but it claims to let you read the whole of Gill Holcombe's book online. Haven't had time to explore but thought I'd post the link in case someone would like to.

Recipes start on page 3, after the plan for each week

Not sure the headings for each page are accurate, but the pages follow through.
Just home for lunch, so no time to explore

Wow, I've just finished catching up. I started reading from page 74 yesterday afternoon and have just finished!
Will update my sig now with what I spent yesterday but will have more to add later when DH tells me how much he spent yesterday.
I've been yawning my head off all day, not much sleep last night, bed at 01.00:eek: ! I only got 3 hours sleep yesterday after work as everything kicked off at 6.00 and I was late leaving work so unable to wind down until mid-day. Plus next door are having their loft done at the moment and they were taking the roof off yesterday so noisy! Oh well- you gotta break eggs to make an omelette haven't you?
Not many whoopsies to be had last night but got 3 loaves of bread, a tiny joint of beef 1/2 price and some other bits. Spent £26.73 but £18 of that was for DH's beer. £2+ for milk and £1.54 for apples.
I'm starving hungry today, I've not eaten properly for the last week nearly. I've just finished my 5 nights and I usually end up missing at least 1 meal per day during this time cause I get confused and sleep is more important than food!

Mmmmmm been baking again today. Just made lovely cranberry and orange mini cakes, adapted from an orange loaf recipe I found on MrS recipe pages mmmmmm
Told hubby I made them and he was suddenly rather keen to nip home for some!
Also currently baking a flapjack thing with apricot reduction in the middle- recipe said use dried ones with water and sugar to make jammy middle bit, but I just used a few dried ones, less water and the rest of my cheap fresh ones that were 99p for a huge punnet in the Coop last week.
Hope you manage to feel less numb soon nikki, and not in too much pain.
Just found a recipe for pineapple salsa so will make that later to chill, ready to eat tomorrow with the beef and bean enchiladas I made a while back (they are defrosting just now so lets hope they are ok).
