Morning all
HUGS ANNIESTAR, JAYWARD, DOGROSE, CANDY AND YOUR DAD, KYLE AND ANYONE ELSE I'VE MISSED OR NEEDS ONE.
CATOWEN when I was a student in London, I had a Saturday job in Harrods. We used to get the most fantastic food in the staff canteen. It really is a great institution.
Dry here and intermittently cloudy. Good wind blowing. Washing will go out when it's done. Taking DS to see Kung Fu Panda today. Nothing much else planned, might go to the allotment for an hour and read a couple of research papers. Feel really lazy today. House is reasonable.
Off to have a shower and nip to the butcher. Catch you all later and have a lovely day all.

Morning all,
Been to town all day with DH. Just had a nice big glass of red.
Bought a new lounge and small dining room suite. Why do I go shopping with DH.
The sales are so good over here this time of year is was hard to pass up. I'll post some pictures once they get delivered. Hopefully in about 2 weeks time. I'm hoping by re-arranging things it will fit in better. ATM our dining room suite is way too big for our dining room. Once you sit down, you are locked in.
Had lunch with DD. Other than that, not a great deal of OS'ing going on but I will redeem myself tomorrow.
Hope you all have a lovely day. Nobody has said yet, how is Lleyton going in the tennis? <hugs> to those poorly. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

Morning all,
Have managed to empty the ironing skip, did 3 hrs y/day and finished last 8 items this am. Vacumed and dusted.
Rooted through the freezer and found chops for tonight and a cooked joint of lamb for tomorrow, am really trying to empty the freezer so we may end up with a mix of things for dinner next week.
DH went to town today for salad and veg, he was gone ages because due to the Glastonbury fest the place was packed and the traffic at a stand still. The fest is not even in G/bury but 7mls away in Pilton.
Am off to see DD2, she misses me so much when I am away
so plan to spend a few hours having girly chats and lots of laughs.
Snuggley Hugs to all x0 -
Red ruby- Sorry no its a wii game, but it is fabulous. Getting everyone round tomorrow for a BIG brawl. Poor sky city. When life gives you lemons......Grab a bottle of tequila and call me over!

Good morning, all
Hope everyone is doing well and great big hugs to those that need them.
I'm asking for Smash Bros Brawl on the Wii for my birthday, but there's so long to wait! *mopes* However!
I've had a thoroughly productive morning, having made two batches of meatballs for the freezer and divvied up the misshaped bacon I bought yesterday into eight packs. As there's just the two of us it's really saving us money on buying normal bacon. My chilli plant and lettuces are doing really well and I'm feeling incredibly domestic, which is a strange feeling for me!
Going to go to a charity fun day in a little while and while I'll not buy anything, we'll have a good time with friends. Nothing but a DVD and a nice curry for the evening, although I'm halfway tempted to buy a lotto ticket just in case
Going to find a new home for my steamer, too, and clean out the cupboards, methinks. Then my bookshelves, which are groaning under the weight of so many books. I've read most of them, but the OH doesn't like the fact they're not neatly organised.
Anyway, have a good day all!0 -
Hello all !
Lovely sunny day........well it is at the minute but started off looking grim.
Both boys have gone off into town...........made the older one responsible for making sure the younger one behaves and comes back when told (which should be half an hour from now !)
Made yet more christmas cards (soon have enough for a shop.............lol) and now making the most of some 'me' time while I've got the chance.
Hope you have a good day and hugs (((((((((((:o )))))))))) to those who need themMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Hi everyone - (((hugs))) to everyone; hope you are all having at least some sunshine. It's intermittent here, lovely when it's shining but instant gloom when it goes behind the clouds.
Thanks to everyone who has wished me a nice time here 'home alone'! I have now bought the big bar of Turkish Delight so that's ready for this evening! I spent more than I expected in the supermarket this morning - I can only think it's because I underestimated the prices nowadays! I am cheating for dinner because I bought a yellow-stickered ready meal, lamb hotpot, for only 70p! I shall have that for lunch with some HM bread then just have cheese on toast for tea. I feel very lazy - I know I should mow the lawn but I think, now that I'm on my own, I've sort of mellowed down so I'm taking the rest of the day off! The paperwork can wait and so can the lawn - we are supposed to be having good weather tomorrow so I can do it then.
Anyway, off to spend all of about 5 minutes 'cooking' my dinner.
See you later.

Afternoon all
I'm a bit late posting, but it's been 'interesting' here to say the least, yet more problems with BIL & the extended family, if any of them could spell dysfunctional they could claim the word as their own!
Apart from that I've got washing on the line, have watered the garden, picked some peas, started making stuff for DD's birthday tea tomorrow & made a bread pudding.
Have a good day, hugs to PP, Smokey, Annie, Poppy & Dogrose.

) Will get update this afternoon and if she is still in we will go up and visit her tonight. Waiting for Murray to come on tv at the mo.
Been up to London today to take mum shopping, got home and its a lovely afternoon here with sun really warm, which makes a lovely change
Hope everyone is well, not had a chance to read thread yet (((hugs))) to all
PS - Aussie just noticed Leyton is meeting Federer in the next round - should be a good 'un!!!0
