16k Stolen from my account

Thsi is terrible, I remember withdrawing 1k from barclays and they took my driving licence and photocopied it for there reference.

Baz, they have said this is a mistake, right? have they not arranged for something short term so you can pay your bills?

The idiot from Head office Escalation team has told me it's an admin error, which they have not found the cause of the problem yet.
They also won't allow me to send Chaps payment from my savings accounts until it's cleared up.
Barclays are complete !!!!!!, i'ver spoke to the Financial Ombudsman earlier and they are also going to contact them. they said as it's there error they should be trying there best to help, not restricting my funds.....

it does seem quite ridiculous that it is taking soo long to refund YOU who after all has already suffered embarrassment(with the builder) and restrictions on your business.

Finally got my £ back today, they apparently still have no idea what caused the problem.
My branch were absolutely terrible, no help whatsoever.
i can't wait to get away from the idiots

Congratulations, Baz.

My advice to you is to write a letter to the management of your branch detailing the problem you encountered and transfer your funds to another bank as soon as possible.

Your bank lost your business due to their poor customer service.
