Looking like its going to be a glorious day. Can't ride the boys as the farm where they are have the shearers in and the shed is being used, so best to keep out of the way. Ds1 has gone down to 'help' wrap the fleeces. Boy is he going to stink when he comes home! Told him to strip off on the doorstep.

DS2 is back from his week away with school, along with a very large bag of washing. The grass needs strimming and cutting. However DS1 has siphoned all the petrol out of everything so he could fill the quad up and take it with him! Will have to see how far I get, as I hate strimming.

House is a bombsite. OH has mended the hoover but it is very temperamental. OH is wanting to tile the shower room. We have had the tiles for about 2 years. The problem is that the cat thinks that room is its personal toilet and it stinks! It currently has lino on the floor and OH has reached the end of hie tether with it. He is working today and then got a few jobs to do on his way home.

DD2 has had a friend sleepover. Better go and get dressed.

My house is a bombsite as well so can sympathise with you there and good luck with the strimming.

Have tried everything. Its litter tray is in there and its DD2s responsibility to keep it clean (her cat). Hoping if we lift the lino and give it a good airing it will half sort the problem. I would like to put a cat flap in but our house is so cold and draughty I don't want to add to it IYSWIM.

Just paid another £9 off target card. Was naughty last night and had a takeaway. Did get the strimming and lawnmowing done. Feeling pleased about that.

DS1 has disappeared back to the farm. He came home and was shattered, went to bed about 8.30. Thinking about going fruit picking today but not sure about the weather. DD1 is away at her friends and not sure what time she needs picking up.

    hi lucielle
for the cat ,,,wash the floor in jayes fluid,,,the dark brown one in the tin,,
most animals hate the smell,,,its also good for the lawn,,1 cap full in 5lts kills moss and weeds and the grass loves it,,,(had a dog years ago that wouldn't train to a patch ,,,she used the whole lawn!! noticed after about 3 months of spraying once a week ,,no weeds, moss eth and lush green grass,,
as for ds...you could set up a decontamination tent on the drive for when he gets home:cool:
contact your local fire brigade they will be great full for the practice :rotfl::rotfl:

Made fairy cakes with the 2 younger ones and left them to ice. Picked DS1, quad and DD1 up. DS1 got fumigated in the shower and then went fruit picking. Got 2 large baskets of strawberries which will be converted to jam tomorrow and a small punnet of raspberries.

Did the ironing whilst watching Wimbledon. Glad Federer (sp) won but felt sorry for Andy. Managed to get the house hoovered and DS2 and DD2 cleaned the bathrooms before we baked.

OH has removed the lino from the shower room and covered the floor in bleach. Will get some jeyes and give the floor a covering in that. Got some parcels to get ready from ebay sales for OHs business.
