I am feeling an up date coming on. I have managed to transfer the outstanding balance on the HSBC card onto the RBS one for a LOB transfer of 6.95% this card has an outstanding balance on it but that is LOB as well. Once that goes through the HSBC will be clear. Whilst I was on the phone to HSBC I tried to get them to lower the balance but got cut off halfway through.
All outstanding balances on the credit cards are LOB. Once HSBC has cleared we will have 4 cards (plus abbey which is the target card and has £160 left to pay) 1 Tesco loan and a 0% loan which ends in May next year. Also got the overdrafts but not too worried about those.
I still fell as if I'm wading through treacle. This week we have no money. Payday is on Friday and I might get a bit from a couple of hours working this weekend. We have managed to get up to date with the rent which we had fallen behind with and that is coming out of my wages which are paid 4 weekly. OH needs to tax his car at the end of the month and probably needs a couple of new tyres, which will probably explain why I nearly spun off the road earlier this week (scary, trousers needed changing moment).
I have also placed an order for some heating oil. I would've liked to wait a couple more weeks, as I feel the price will come down some more but things are getting desparate. I got several quotes ranging from 39.2p to 31p. I obviously went with the lower price. Delivery is due on Wednesday, invoice several days later. With VAT on it will probably be in the region of £400.
Onto some lighter news. After two days of constant phoning and trying to get on the website I finally managed to book 2 tickets to go and see Billy Connolly. We have always wanted to go. Our seats are up in the Gods but it should be good. Have also arranged child care and get 2 nights away. This is good timing as its a week after our wedding anniversary.
Still not done anything about the cat flap but have bought some jeyes fluid and done the floor several times. When money is a bit easier will get some tile grout and finish the floor. Currently got 3lbs of raspberries slowly being turned into jam. Been to see the horses and collected 4 bags of poo for the compost! Every little helps.

Billy Connolly will be fab!!! I bet you are excited!
As for the rest of it - I know what you mean about the wading through treacle stuff.....but we are making real progress, just look back at the "old" debt figures to remind yourself how far you have come!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I am sooooo excited. I hope that it isn't going to be one of those occasions when you look forward to something and it turns out pants. Just been trying to get some accommodation sorted, I think the best we have got is £136 for 2 nights B&B.

Feeling the need to up date some more. Our debts at the moment look like this:
Abbey £152 apr 12% (target card)
American Express £1900.82 apr 6.9%
Citi £6493.48 apr 6.9%
Barclaycard £3725.25 apr 6.9%
bank of scotland £8448.33 apr 6.9%
Tesco £10387.20 apr 6.5%
student support £862.35 0%
Total £31969.43
Can't wait until I am in the 20s. It seems to have been a long week this week and its not over yet. Children have another week at school until they break up. I will have to get the office ready for my mum coming as it is a complete tip.
Had the oil delivered today and DS1 has been busy making paper logs. I have no airing cupboard and they take some drying. Have got a backlog of papers in the dining room which will also have to be discovered so we can all sit down together.
Will get a few extra hours in work tomorrow as it should be my day off but going in as I am signing up to do some NVQs. Also got my Avon delivery and will have to get that sorted.
