Still no news re job so beginning to feel like its not going to happen. Had a better morning at the horses and hopefully up again on Friday.

    Jobs for today:
    Hoover
    Ironing
    paperwork
    maybe some gardening.

Target cc which I had hoped to pay off by the end of this month now stands at £100 so hopefully that will be cleared by the end of May.

Morning hun glad you had a nice time away..

Tell m e do you and your brood constantly eat puddings lol.... id be the size of a horse ( no pun intended) if i cooked all that lot.

Anyway if you have still not heard anything from your job how about giving them a call. It is not rude to chase things up and it would show you are still interested and you would know one way or another

I agree with Smamfer - give them a call - you need to know one way or the other so you can make plans as necessary.

I had an old boss who wouldn't employ anyone who didn't ring up after the interview to see if they'd got the job so I'd do it to .....

Ok ok ok! Have plucked up the courage and called. They haven't made a decision yet. Hopefully by the end of the week.

Smamfer you must have met me because I have a 'comfortable' figure and a beggar for comfort eating when stressed, happy, sad, miserable, bored etc. Think you get the picture. I thought I was doing really well on being good at eating the other day til I realised I was pondering this thought whilst scoffing a packet of crisps.

DD2 has gone away with school until Friday (shame its not Sunday). She was so excited she couldn't eat her breakfast and that was yesterday!

DS1 has finished scouts and DS2 has moved up into scouts in time for the annual camping holiday in July £100 or so quid each. That's if both of them want to go (DD1 is still in scouts).

Had a meeting at the high school regarding revision and the first part of the maths GCSE. I don't think DS1 is going to like me by the beginning of June.

Revision timetable now graces the front of the fridge door. DS1 seems to be on board (give it a week).

    Todays exciting events are:
    get Avon books sorted
    Avon bagged on delivery
    Deliver the Avon stuff
    Paperwork
    hoover
    washing
    ironing
    plant some beetroot.
    Think that's it for now.

My DD is only doing one GCSE this year, with the rest next year in year 11, so I am hoping that the one she does in June this year will make her realise that she has got her work cut out for the next 12 months!
