Hi Lucielle, I have just discovered your diary. Well! I feel tired just reading it. How do you manage to fit everything in? You must be a very motivated person. As the saying goes, ' if you want something doing, ask a busy person'.:D

I lost the diamond out of my engagement ring about 4 years ago. I claimed on the insurance, though the young laddy could not understand why I didn't want a new ring under my new for old policy - presume he was very very young and single !!!

Helloooo, especially to you new peeps. Have potted on the broccoli, tomatoes, leeks and peppers. DS1 has rotavated the veg patch for the 4 millionth time! Should be nice and crumbly now, just have to get my bottom in gear and get the onion sets in alternated with carrots.

I've got 4 fruit cakes in the oven, desperately trying to use some eggs up. Will have to get the children to have boiled eggs for brekkies.

2 loads of washing just about dry as it looks like its trying to rain. Trouble is I can't do any ironing as my dining room is full of industrial strimmers (part of an order for OHs business), I nearly break my neck as I walk past as it is. Sure he is outside dusting the insurance policy off!

Hoping for a no spend day but the 6 pints of milk I bought yesterday has nearly all gone so I'm going to have to go and get some.

Been to the horses but didn't ride. Old boy looks ok. Came home and cleaned out the hen house. DS1 power washed the nest boxes and perches, I left the floor to dry for a while. Just put the whole thing back together again.

Have finally planted the onion sets and carrots. Don't really feel like doing anything else. Got 2 loads of washing on the line. Can't wait to get my dining room back and then I can get on top of the ironing. Strimmers should be going on Tuesday.

Tea tonight will be cornish pasties with mash and homemade mushy peas, followed by blackberry and apple crumble.

Sorry to hear about your ring. Don't feel bad. Its hard not to beat yourself up about it. Its fixable and you still have the rest of the ring. Could be worse you could have lost it completely?!

    Glad your horseys are ok.

Tea tonight sounds positively divine/scrummy? Do you have spares for meeeee?? I'd do the washing up in return!

Too much rain here today for line drying. I've got my riding things in the washing machine now. I'm going to peg them out in the hope that it's finished raining and the nicer day tomorrow that the weatherman promised is actually going to happen!
