I think I'm stressing because I don't know and will find out on Friday when we are away. My friend who is coming to look after the menagerie will give me a call if there is any news. Had an awful day with the children. They are constantly bickering which I find really tiring. In the end I went to a friends house and OH had the little darlings.

Hi Lucielle. I do sympathise about the bickering children - mine can be awful. I hope you enjoy your trip away more than you're expecting to.

Finally made the lemon drizzles (3) and 2 orange drizzles. No wonder my horse groans when I hit the saddle. OH has managed to resuscitate the hoover, it still puffs out clouds of dust but it does manage to pick up the dirt.

Bathed the dog this morning as she had manged to regurgitate a rabbit all over the dining room floor during the night. The house now stinks so I've borrowed the carpet washing machine and need to try and get that washed before we go away. Weather is pants and I've had to resort to using the tumble drier to get everything up to date. DS1 won £25 on the premium bonds, got all excited when I opened the envelope and then I realised it was for him!

Must go and pack and clean the bathroom.

Had a lovely weekend away. Got 3 loads of washing on the line. Been and rode my horse which was ok but not brill. Have taken my eye off the ball with regards to banks and have gone over the overdraft on 2 accounts. That will cost!

Have got copies of my cc bills so I need to sort through those and set that ball in motion.
