Feeling a bit weepy as DS1 has gone today. He's reached my sisters and flies tomorrow. Managed to hold it together until I got home and then bawled my eyes out. Now got a massive headache.

After 4 years of no pay rise have finally got one for the massive amount of 25p per hour. Yes you read that right 25p. Not a happy duck. Also now want us to take a lunch break when previously we worked through and work an extra half hour at the other end. On 2 days work an hour longer which would effectively mean only a pay increase of half an hour due to lunch break. Phew glad to get that off my chest. Don't think I'll take them up on their kind offer of extra hours.

Sending (((Hugs))) to you. I hope that he has a brilliant time though..he is very adventurous!

Shame about the pay rise and the change of hours, it makes it a longer day and if your like me, you end working through the lunch break anyway. Still better than no job...

Hugs honey, so hard when they go isn't it.

I remember taking DD to the airport 2 years ago, (haven't seen her since) and had to walk away quickly before I wrecked her flight by breaking down in front of her. I drove 180miles home on my own, instead of stopping at my mum's as I just couldn't face anyone. I'd pulled myself together by the time I got home but gosh it was hard. Goodness knows how I will be after spending 3 months with her next year.

Pah to that pay rise and change of hours x

I can't believe how upset I am over DS1 going away, normally I'm part of the stiff upper lip brigade but currently sat here in bits AGAIN. Had to escape work for 10 mins yesterday as I had another wobble. Why can't I get a grip on myself, the kids are handling it better than me! He's driven me up the wall this last couple of weeks.
