Oh L. I have just seen your post about your Mum. (Not sure how I missed it before). You sound like the rock in your family. Can't imagine how difficult dealing with the middle sister is!
Do you know what is motivating her? Is she worried about inheritance? It sounds as if she just likes stirring.
At least there's another carehome she's been able to go to. Hope it works out.
Sleep well on your new mattress and take care of yourself.

Hugs L, I have just dropped in on your diary and seen what you are going through with your Mum.......my mum went into a nursing home in July '12 and reading your situation makes me realise even more how fortunate I am that she has settled and is happy there.

I don't have brothers or sisters, and whilst it can be hard at times dealing with things on your own, (with my Dad) it obviously isn't always easy when there are family fall-outs etc,,,,, my thoughts are with you, hope you can get things sorted soon.

    Another moany post........

Mum has been moved to another care home, at least she seems to have settled down. Sister on the other hand has been a complete nightmare. She has put in a complaint against the manager and been harassing the staff. The social worker has asked for a big meeting which I'm going to next Friday. She wants us to discuss the POA and whether she should be on it as she doesn't think she has mums best interests at heart. This is like trying to stop dynamite and really not looking forward to it.

New mattress is ok and OH is sleeping better. Been to have my hair cut tonight. Shoulder length hair now up round ears, not sure I like it.

Got a miserable day tomorrow. DD2 is going to the orthodontist tomorrow, then I'm going to Bookers. Got to kill a few hours in town and then got DD1s parents evening. I'll be leaving the house at 8.30 and wont be back until after 6.00. Hope the weather is a bit better. Even saw some snowflakes yesterday!

Oh gawd that doesn't sound like much fun. Getting into who is on the PoA is as you say toxic stuff. Best of luck. Hope your diplomatic skills come to the fore!

Bookers sounds fun..don't spend too much, ;)
