Baking sounds good Turfy.
Spent last weekend stripping the wallpaper off the living room. Now got the dilemma of picking the paint. OH has swept the chimney, so one job less.
Still got major problems with my mum. Sister and I have had a major fallout, not sure if there is a way back from this, or if I want to go back. Lots of issues rising to the surface. Even OH has now seen what she's like.
Spent this morning doing the books as I haven't touched them for 2 months. A bit disappointed by the time I got to the end, as I was getting into the zone.
DD1 went to the Young Farmers Ball last night. DS1 is trialling his dog tomorrow so we'll go and watch her running. DD2 has come back from a sleepless over potentially poisonous, trying to avoid her.

Mum had an appointment at the fracture clinic, they aren't very happy with the way its healing so she had to go and see a consultant. He thought about giving her a shoulder blade replacement but the 2 hour op could be risky. In the end they've decided to review it in 1 month.
In other more mundane news, we decided to put the mattress topper back on and the first night it was on was the first decent nights sleep I've had for a while. After I've saved up for some new glasses (currently got £50 saved) I'm saving up for an all singing and dancing mattress.
I've managed to double book myself this week and DD1 has benefited from it. I was supposed to be going to see Sally Morgan but have got an AGM to go instead. Thursday night we're going out to see Fascinating Aida, if you haven't heard of them give them a google very much in the genre of Victoria Wood. So looking forward to that.
DS1 and friends have gone to Edinburgh for the weekend. Managed to persuade him to catch the train, as I was worried about the amount of alcohol he was going to consume and then drive back.
DD1 was at work yesterday, gosh the amount of moaning she did was unbelieveable and OH is getting pretty fed up of her grumpiness. Anybody got any remedies for PMT as she is pretty savage!!!
Still not decided what colour to paint the living room. At the moment it looks more like Elmer the elephant with all the different samples! Will try and get some more tester pots this weekend.
Off to sort out our mobile contracts today, means a big trip into the big town! May hit Primarni and Matalan.
Hope everyone keeps safe when the scary weather hits.

Full on weekend in the Lucielle household
Really hoping that the weather is not that bad. DD needs to be in London and then back in Bristol. Ugh. Can't bear it if the trains are up the creek.

I bought a lovely throw from Skye Skyns when I was on holiday, its all browns and creams and I was going to use this as my colour pallette. However I have fallen in love with Duluxs sumptuous plum for my feature wall but trying to get accessories to match is proving to be a problem. The carpet is a digestive colour and the settees are green (not my favourite but till we can afford something else they'll have to do). I just struggle to 'see' what it'll look like when I'm finished.
