All turkeys have been collected and the 2 left squashed into the freezer. Think we'll use them up every 3 months. Spent yesterday decanting the limoncello, sloe gin and blackberry vodka into bottles. Also made some mincepies.
The chaps treated us to a meal at our fave restaurant last night. Did hurry a bit as I wanted to see the strictly results.
Put a le cruset pan on the stove today with mulled wine in and it worked really well.
The car has got a flat backtyre, OH is hoping to get it mended tomorrow if its open as he needs the car to go down south.

Got a nice (not) letter from the working family tax peeps saying we've been overpaid, again. Sigh. I've scanned it and sent it to the accountant with a message saying not to be opened till after Christmas.
Trying not to stress over it, as no wft payment is going to make life very hard indeed.
OH decided not to get the tyre mended as he is still suffering with man flu. He'll get it mended later on in the week.
All washing and ironing up to date, even though I had to use the tumble drier. Apart from the money side of things I feel quite chilled.
OOh, almost forgot, very happy girl. I bought some magic mould killer/remover stuff from Lakeland and its removed most of the mould from the hallway, our bedroom, boys room and the dining room. Even if it only lasts for a couple of months I'm a very happy chappy. It doesn't take much.
Hope you all have a Happy Christmas and I will probably pop back tomorrow.

Here I am wide awake and no sign of sleepiness. Had hope whilst off my sleeping pattern would sort itself out.
Had a lovly day today, all the chaps happy with their loot. Made the most fantastic roast potatoes, am ever so pround of them, would've given Aunt Bessie a run for her money!
A bit worried about my oldest sister. A friend of hers who is more like a mother figure than our own mum is in the last stages of bowel cancer. She's beaten it twice but has said no more this time. My sister thinks she'll be lucky to see the New Year in and is in bits about it.
My mum had a fall today and gashed her head open on the door frame, shearing off the screw heads. My step dad called 999 as there was blood everywhere and he couldn't get her up. She's ok and back home, with stepdad keeping an eye on her. My middle sister went over and sort of helped but the situation between her and my stepdad isn't great.
He's had enough and offloads onto oldest sister. I'm worried that she really isn't coping but unsure how to get stepdad to back off a bit without putting his back up. I was ok to be used when they (the sisters) were both out of the country at the same time but he does prefer dealing with her.
