I've been having a mini detox and not had any caffeine (sp) since Sunday. Have been having a few headaches at night and was woken up in the early hours with a stonking one behind my eyes. Luckily its gone this morning.
It's DS2s birthday tomorrow (he'll be 14! How did that happen?) he wants steak pie for tea. I trundled off to the butchers and purchased one and half pounds of stewing steak for the huge cost of £6.11!!!! Its no wonder I'm a yellow sticker kind of girl.
I've browned it off and put it in the slow cooker. I've started his birthday cake and will finish that off tomorrow, still got to wrap his pressies which I'll get done today. Whilst the oven was on I made some lemon drizzle cakes, 2 big ones and also test drove my new silicone mini loaf tray. Slightly over filled them, so need to adjust the quantities next time.
I've been feeling shattered, can't keep my eyes open after 9pm. Wondering if its anything to do with the caffeine?
DD1 is away for a training weekend this Saturday so hoping the weather isn't going to be too wet. I think DS1 will be beating on Saturday.
Work is ok, not filling me with enthusiasm but its a job, so I'll keep on plodding.

The tiredness probably is reaction to the lack of caffeine, it will sort itself out in a couple of days. Birthday tea sounds lovely, I'll be over shortly....

Cake and weightloss on the same page. I like the sound of that! Kids grow up too quickly its true.
As for the weightloss, well done. I am facing my weight demon as I can no longer really get away with saying I just need to firm up!Trying to shift that debt!0
