Just saved my OHs bacon as I was booking the docs appointment I realised its his sisters 50th. Straight onto google and hopefully a truly splendid bouquet of fleurs are winging themselves over this afternoon along with a big helium 50 balloon. I have phoned OH to tell him what a wonderful wife I am!

Well thanks to the powers of MSE and a couple of emails, the AA have come up trumps and paid me the residual amount. I'll take back everything I said and the money has gone into the car pot.

Day off today as DS1 has got his theory test. Its not looking good. He's only just realised there's another part to the disc he's been using. DD1 is a grump from hell, stroppy, hormonal teenager and I've had enough. Told her last night if she carries on I'll withdraw all my help for Thailand. She got a bad result in her maths and also advised her if she doesn't turn it round she wont be going.
DS2 seems to be ok at high school and his birthday is coming up soon. DD2 was also in her dads bad books last night, messing around at the table and being a pain.
I've signed up to do a couple of courses, fun ones this time. Also going to do badminton again.
Its our wedding anniversary on Wednesday, 20 years. OH has booked us a night away at a swanky hotel. He's very grumpy because I've found out about it. Going to book a couple of beauty treatments and get OH a massage.

40 days left - when I was updating my signature last night I thought it was like Lent or 40 days & 40 nights! :eek: My friends have their new savings accounts open and ready to start lodging money into so they have no intentions of geting into debt again for anything unnecessary. They are going to continue on with the amount they were paying to their debt except now it will be going to their savings :money:Its our wedding anniversary on Wednesday, 20 years. Hubby & I had a brillant time when we were celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary on Tuesday as there was a double jacuzzi in the en-suite and a four poster leather bed with pop up tv with lights above the bed and we had a four course dinner which was really tasty. The next day we went to the beach! :j :cool:

As predicted he failed. Only by 5 points and managed to pass the other bit he hasn't practiced!
Spent £140 in Booker so should be ok till Christmas.
