Had a lovely time in London and it was ruddy hot! Am now sporting the lobster look, as are the DDs. Nieces party went very well and our outfits went down very well.
War Horse was amazing, went to the British Museum, Camden and Covent Garden. TBH it was to hot to do anything else, so came back and lazed by the pool.
Whilst I was away it looks like things have been moving on the contract front, we'll see what happens on Monday.
Hoping to get the car into the auction this week. Still using Ds1s and he seems ok with it.

Morning all, nice, blustery day here and got 3 loads of washing on the line. Not too sure DD1 will be impressed when she sees the ironing pile!
I find it amazing when you see the shows like War Horse and Lion King, how they make the sets, using the same props to make different things and especially loved the goose!
Also went to see a 'Play Without Words' by Matthew Bourne, a dance play. I think it was a bit over my head but very well choreographed.
OH had left some luggage lying about when he got home and then tripped over it. He's managed to give himself a fat lip, does look a bit funny.
Supposed to be doing a car boot next weekend for DD1s fundraising so a chance for some decluttering. Got to clean the car today ready to take it into the auction, possibly on Monday. OH if he remembers the ladders (think he'll forget as he doesn't want to do it) is going in the attic to try and sort the insulation out and see if it will help with the damp in the bathroom.
Watched the opening ceemony last night, think we did ok. Couldn't stay awake for the actual flame lighting bit. Thought Rowan Atkinson was brilliant and well done to the Her Maj as well.

Took some clothes to the weigh in thingy and came out with forty quid to go in the holibobs pot. Happy chap with that amount. Did call in at Asda and spent a whopping £107, not so happy about that, especially as I'd spent £80 quid in Lidls on Friday. Did get a few whoops to go in the freezer and hoping to get by with milk and veg over the next 2 weeks. I'll have to as I put it on the cc and that needs to be kept cleared.
Decided not to put the car in the auction this week. E-mailed somebody to see if that was their best offer, at the mo they haven't got back to me, so hoping to hear tomorrow.
Filled in some paperwork today, new wft form I'm tearing my hair out as waiting for some info from the accountant and I think it needs to be posted PDQ.
OH sorted out the fishing stuff ready for Skye and ordered a bit more kit off ebay to see us through. Hoping to go out in a friends boat so may even get some white fish, usually get mackerel.
Not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. Just keep trying to think what will be, will be.
DS1 is away shearing again today. Think he's bitten off a bit more than he can chew but I'm sure as he's as stubborn as me he'll get through it.
