I haven't read it either. I'm with granny, I'm not into subservient women either, annoys the **** out of me :o

Well done on getting down to one card, it hasn't been easy, has it? I've had to slow down, in fact, am only making the minimum payments as I'm not working.

Only got one more session and then my course is over!!!! Madly trying to get my portfolio in order and then some computer work to finish next week and its finally gone. I really don't care if I pass or not, just not to have to do it any more!

Been madly busy, every night, either doing accounts or coursework after a full day at work. Did manage to get to the gym last night and should be going tomorrow night. Away at the weekend for the first 21st, staying in a travel lodge for 1 night. Honestly, the chaps are ridiculously excited about staying in a hotel. Me thinks they maybe a tad disappointed.

Took my wedding and engagement rings into the jewellers at the weekend to see how much they would cost to be resized, new shank on engagement ring and the diamons reset, looking at £350. To replace my engagement ring in the current market looking at £900-£1000. My wedding ring was secondhand when we bought it and its a lovely 22 carat rose gold. They said they might have trouble getting the colours to match but it would just make it unique. I took some gold in today to see how much I could get for it. However the lady wasn't in, so expecting a phone call tomorrow. I might just end up getting my wedding ring done and put my engagement ring away, so I don't lose any diamonds.

Called in at Lidl on my home tongiht and had a real problm turning the car, struggled to turn any corners and it was a bit eek coming home. I thought the tracking had gone but OH thinks it just needs some power steering fluid in it. Ds1 has taken him to the workshop to get some and then we can see if its cured. Hope so as we need the 7 seats for the weekend.

I get paid next week. First month of new budget, however I have done quite a few hours so should be a good wage but not a true reflection. The next 6 weeks whilst the chaps are off, will mean reduced hours. I did suggest to OH that he might consider taking a day a week off, as long as he's got cover which will help to ease the chaps boredom. Don't get me wrong they are good but 4 days a week down at the workshop will drive them nuts.

I'm really struugling to keep on top of the washing/drying. At the monet I'm putting washing on an airer and the next teatime they're going in the drier and so on. Its a never ending cycle.

Next week is a busy week for the childrens activities, various different things, I won't bore you with the details, needless to say I'm going to work for a rest! Then next Saturday off to other nieces birthday in London and the chaps are coming down on Sunday, come back on the 27/7.

:eek:To not being able to turn the car! Let's hope it is just a lack of power steering fluid.

I did well when selling my gold. Once you've got a price have a look online as sometimes they offer more. I used the one that has it's own thread on the up your income board.

You did really well with yours Piq. Feel a bit guilty about it, as OH bought all of it but I rarely wear it and I love my engagement ring, which is worn all the time.

Car is not better after all and its very major something to do with the steering frame........very expensive. Need a good hard think.

Not a great start to the week and then to finish me off and send me home in tears getting my hours cut at work.

A necklace that OH bought for me in good faith years ago is also a dud and not 9 carat, though it did have the jewellers fooled. Apparently the clasp and a couple of links are, there goes my rings getting mended, though thats the least of my worries at the mo.
