ISA or Savings
I had a fixed rate ISA at 6% with £10,000 in it. The term ended in April when it reverted to a 2% ISA. I have a savings account fixed at 5% until December. The top paying ISAs are at 3% or 4%(locked in for 4 years) If I transfer the £10000 to the savings account I earn about £100 more interest in a year but I lose 3 years…

Opening ISA Balance + Tranferring
I'm currently trying to transfer my current ISA to HSBC so I opened an account and then something came to mind... to open an account you need to make a minimum of £1 deposit from another account with HSBC, which is fine because my current and saving accounts are with HSBC but I'm already subcripted to my maximum of £3,600.…

My daughter has received a cheque for £3795.36.
She doesn't have a bank account but would like to invest it in an ISA. As the Cash ISA limit is £3600, would she be able to pay the £3795.36 in and then get a refund of the £195.36? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

ING Cash ISA question
Hi all, My wife has a 2008/09 cash ISA with ING. In April she got a letter saying that she can no longer deposit money into the ISA. The letter suggests opening a 2009/10 cash ISA. If she opened the 2009/10 ISA does that mean she would have 2 separate accounts. One with the balance as of April 09. One empty one ready to…

I want to transfer my substantial…
