Plunger with at least 20cm diameter
Hello All the plungers that I find in numerous places are maximum 15cm in diameter. This is too small and does not cover all the toilet hole to be placed air-tightly. Is there anywhere that I can buy an at least 20cm diameter plunger? I can't believe that no one has it!

need a new bed
I need to get new bed (base and mattress) It needs to be a reasonable cost but the main thing is I need the old one taken away from upstairs (top and base) and the new one delivered upstairs. Any suggestions which companies will do this. I realise I will need to pay extra for the collection/delivery. Thanks

Which is the better brand Airsprung or Silent Night?
I got an Airsprung Pocket Sprung (single size) mattress from Argos. It's not even 8 months!old and it's gone all saggy and no longer usable. They said I can’t have a refund, but I can pick a replacement. I don’t like memory foam, so out of the Pocket Sprung Single size ones, they only have Silent Night and Airsprung. The…

Vacuum storage bags for bedding
Hi all, Random question of the day: Has anyone any experience of vacuum storage bags? I have a few duvets and pillows that arent currently needed. Its all sat in a massive heap in the corner of the bedroom in dustbin bags. (Not very attractive!) So if a vacuum bag can reduce the amount of space this lot takes up then…

Device to water hanging baskets
Years ago my late mother had a great little hand-held device to water hanging baskets which were above head-height and thus not very accessible. It was a squeezy bottle with a rigid tube attached. The tube curved over at the top so when you positioned the end of the tube over the basket and squeezed the bottle, water was…

Aldi - Try In Store
When browsing Aldi's website most of their drinks have a Try In Store. Has anyone done this before? Kind of curious how it goes down - will they let you try more than one drink? For example they have quite a few flavoured gins. For anyone that isn't sure what I mean, check out the website:…

Reccomendations for a reliable high quality combi microwave?
Our old Hitachi MCB-30 combi-microwave is about due for replacement, it was very expensive when new but it has been used every day and has lasted for more than 15 years. Well done Hitachi. Trying to find a replacement isn't as easy as I expected. One of the first things I read was that these days you don't need to spend…

Mt washing machine has died :( R.I.P served me well for 5 years! was a cheap Hotpoint Argos job. Where are the best bargains for washing machines? Personally I'd love a Meile or Samsung I know I would like a A+++ rating, 1600 spin, a quick wash feature and maybe a big drum 9kg or so to fit in bedding and towels with ease…

Help with contacting Bonusprint over customer service issue
Does anyone know of a physical head office address I can write to Bonusprint about an issue? It's to do with £150 of discounted photobook vouchers I bought at the start of the year. I stupidly realised they'd lapsed a week too late and have repeatedly tried to email their customer services for help but to no avail. I…

Help! Need Net Bags from Washing Tablets
About 10 years ago, I went through a spell of using washing tablets. I used to save the bags and reuse the same one as they lasted ages. A few months ago I was clearing junk and came across about 5 or so of the little mesh bags. As I hadn't found a use for them over the years, I chucked them. But now, just weeks after I…

Wooden Garden Furniture - Cyan, Corido, Lindsey Teak & E Bay store - same address in Coulsdon
I am trying to buy some new teak furniture on line. I have found some I like but I am worried as in Coulsdon there appears to be 4 companies all trading with different names from the same address - all with one digit difference in their contact numbers. This seems strange to me - have any of you used these companies and if…
