Thrifty Idea Needed In Car Music

Changed my car recently and the car is great but has a knackered old radio in it that doesn't work. One of my great pleasures is listening to music I like in the car. I don't even bother with the radio, I have all my music on a USB stick.

In my old car I could just plug that into the radio and play it. This car doesn't have a USB port.

I've looked into getting a new car radio with USB port and fitted and wow - it's a hefty price!
Does anyone know of a good little device I could get cheaply that would play from my USB stick nice and loud in my car without the expense of a new car radio? Thanks

I know it's been a month but if you haven't found anything, you could try a portable speaker. They are rechargeable (or you could plug into car lighter with appropriate charger). This would then connect to your mobile phone which you could have your music downloaded to or if you have an android phone you can get a connector and just plug the usb stick in to the phone. Hope that makes sense.
